We are a Farming Family running predominantly sheep over four different properties in Nornalup, North Walpole, Tingledale & now the beautiful Bow River. The farm names are Nornalup Farms, Karri Springs, Valley of the Giants & Carinya.
My husband’s family have been farming since 1852 in Frankland River and in 2021 we made the massive decision to sell and move our entire base down to the Nornalup area. Happily the same family (Egerton-Warburton) bought our farm and our property has gone back into being a part of the original land holding.
I originally grew up on a farm in the Eastern Wheatbelt called Kellerberrin as the 3 child of 4 children. My family have been farming there since 1901.
I have also been an architectural draftsman using Autodesk products however I am now enjoying more of the software study and 3D modelling of furniture. A project I am working towards is the creation of a Fab Lab Work Shop for Holiday Makers. In my Fab Lab I will have all the woodworking, steel working & other equipment combined with computers to design and create 3D models. This is proving to be an exciting project and I hope it will be successful and fun.
In a previous life I lived in Asia (China, Taiwan & Hong Kong) for a period of 6 years working for the Australian Wheatboard, CSR and others. I have a Degree in Asian Studies majoring in languages.
I have 3 children now all in their 20s who are off farm and working towards their own careers.
