If you are after a relaxing break in a fab coastal surf town this is it. Near new & separated from main dwelling Asmara offers privacy comfort & space. Very quiet neighbourhood location . 3 to 5 Mins by car to Barwon Heads Main Street, river, surf beaches, bars, cafes & restaurants. 20 to 25 min walk to the Main Street, beach, river & shops. Onsite massage avail. Toaster bar fridge and coffee tea making facilities.
NOTE we are not directly in town but we offer peace & an amazing oudoor bath.

Studio room separate from main dwelling . Private access. You don't have to see us if you want total privacy . Unfortunately no cooking facilities but there's plenty of options to either shop at the local deli or dine in at one of the many cafes and restaurants . Fair trade Plunger Coffee tea supplied .mini bar fridge. Kettle and toaster supplied. Access is separate from the main home . North facing sunny deck & south deck with gorgeous cast iron bath & firepit. Plenty of privacy, peaceful and quiet. I've striven to create a relaxing ambient place to escape to. You won't want to get out of bed. So if you are needing rest Asmara is your place.

With the current issue of Coronavirus I want to confirm that we totally disinfect the whole space to help keep you healthy .
We also have a pet whippet "lola" who lives with us. She is a very friendly dog whom you probably won’t meet while staying with us. She is generally an indoor pooch . But at times she is hanging in the yard (usually sleeping in the sunshine) there is a fence and gate keeping her away from your private space . Firewood can be purchased at the local petrol station . Please note no fires in summer months .
We think of Airbnbing kind of like camping... leave no trace... well, almost no trace! While we don’t expect you to deep clean the place... we do expect you to leave our home pretty much as you found it. This is how I am able to not charge extra for cleaning . Please wash dry your dishes and put back where found .

NOTE 20 min walk to town. 25 minute walk to family friendly river/beach. Area terrific for cycling enthusiasts. Close to Bellarine Penninsular wineries & day trips down the great ocean road. Take a day trip on the ferry across to Sorrento. Plenty to keep you busy . Book a massage or spa treatments in room. PLEASE DONT BOOK here if you want to be really close to the main drag of town . I travel as much as I can because I love to see the world. I have incurable wanderlust .
