Equipped and furnished with bed(s), some linens, armoire, table/chair set, stove and refrigerator in each unit. One unit has full size bed. The second unit has two extra- long twin beds imported from US. Can hold up to 300 lbs. Beautiful veranda/patio with lounging and eating area and bar-b-q. International satellite TV connection. Hot water heater, reservoir, separate electricity counters. Owner pays water. All windows and doors are fully screened. Each unit has ample ventilation using overhead fans.
Five minute walk to the beach, lagoons, hotels and restaurants. Forty 45 minute drive to new airport. Close to Ngaparou, Saly and Mbour. Calm and peaceful location.
Two small parking spaces. On-site guard. Long-term stay only (prefer 1+ year). No pets allowed. Suitable for elder. English, French and Wolof speaking.

There is plenty to do from Somone. There is a bird park about 15 minutes away; Bandia is the wildlife reserve about 30 minute drive from Somone; the lagoon offers safe swimming and surfing. The area has several hotels for pool swimming and jet skiing. There are also many tourist agencies that offer excursions to: Joal, Sine Saloum, Goree Island, The Pink Lake, The Sanctuary of Popenguine. You can find drummers who offer drumming lessons. The lagoon offers a meal of clams and oysters prepared by the local women. There are also mini boating excursions around the lagoon. Our guard can teach you how to cook fish over an open charcoal or wood fire. There are many quad excursions. Volleyball games in the sand. Young girls can get their hair braided in the African tradition.
