You'll enjoy state of the art light-filled rooms. All windows feature block out blinds and the main bedroom has a sliding door to your courtyard deck.
Private entrance from the street, queen size bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom, WC, outdoor shower, (please see the floor plan in the photos above). Bar fridge, microwave oven, electric fry pan, sandwich press, teas, ground coffee and plunger, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery. Extendable table, chairs and bag rests. Sofa bed in the sitting area.

There are lots of good cafes and restaurants. Ask for our recommendations or check out our Guidebook. Note that most restaurant kitchens close relatively early (8pm).

Our home is located in a friendly, surf-loving part of town - the gateway to the Great Ocean Road, between Surf City and Deep Creek.
It's a quiet area and the linear park provides a beautiful bush walk to the beach (30 minutes or as long as you like).
The beaches in Torquay are picturesque and each offer something different. Don't leave Torquay without driving along The Esplanade.
The shops at Surf City include all the famous brands and clearance houses, Kombi Kiosk, Sticks and Stones cafe, Ginger Monkey, more cafes, icecream, etc. Within a few minutes drive are the different beaches, shopping precincts flourishing with a surprising range of cafes and restaurants, and the iconic RACV resort. Bells Beach is an easy 10 minute drive down the road.

We appreciate meeting new people and offering hospitality. Having people stay completes our home. We enjoy helping others have the same experience we value as travellers - feeling safe and at home with a comfortable bed. A part-time sociologist/artist and a consulting engineer, we are easy going. Love to boogie board, walk along the beaches and through the bush, read (Wolf Hall and Birds Without Wings are still my favourites) and go to the cinema.
