Camp de Rêves' Safari Cottage Glamping tents are spacious, chic and rustic with large windows at the front to provide lots of light - their design is both charming and functional. All the tents have excellent sea and rural views.
Each tent can sleep six adults and is made up of a kingsize four poster bed, a separate bunk bedroom and a kingsize cabin bed. Each bedroom can be made private by pulling a large curtain across. The cabin bed is accessible by a short ladder and has quaint wooden shutters for privacy. Each room has fairy lights or lamps to make it extra cosy!
The tents each have a large spacious terrace that provides an extra lounging or dining area, with 2 Adirondack chairs and a picnic bench table. Each tent has its own private entrance gate and surrounding garden area so you can always find a shady, sunny or secluded space.
Fresh bed linen and towels are supplied weekly and beach towels are available upon request. Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and milk are placed in the tent upon arrival. The ensuite bathroom has a powerful shower with sink and toilet.
The kitchen has a large fridge with freezer section, a microwave combi oven, 2 burner portable hob, kettle and toaster, all crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils for 6 persons are provided, there is also a gas Weber BBQ on the terrace.
There is also fast LAN wifi to each tent.
There 5 tents are named after the reefs and bays visible from the site. From left to right, if looking at the sea, the tent order is: Rocquaine, Portelet, Pezzeries, Hanois, Lihou.
Minimum stay of 3 nights, with the exception of July and August which have a 5 night minimum stay.
Other than your own personal garden there is also a separate children's play area, a petanque pitch, communal bbq area complete with wood fired cooking fire pit and wood fired pizza oven, all wood and charcoal is provided. Also a large field adjacent to the tents which can be used for ball games and exploring.
The Barn:
Games room with table tennis, table football, board games, reading and colouring books.
24hr toilet and shower room
Small locally supplied grocery shop which stocks general provisions such as milk, bread, tea, coffee, eggs and bacon etc.
Washing machine, tumble dryer and iron.If all five tents and three shepherd huts are booked by the same party the Barn's large interior can be made available for ancillary use such as meetings, classes, seminars, etc.

Camp de Rêves Glampsite (Guernsey French for Field of Dreams) is set in one of the most beautiful parts of the Island, boasting fabulous panoramic west coast sea views and stunning sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean.
The fields surrounding Camp de Rêves are home to numerous different species of birds, both local and migrating, from little egrets to marsh harriers which come to feed on the abundant flora and fauna in the protected Ramsar area.
Within ten minutes you can walk to the sheltered bays perfect for swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, paddle boarding and beach combing!
If you prefer to stay home for the day why not just unwind on your private deck overlooking the views whilst the children play in the outdoor play area, games room or adjoining fields.
It is the perfect base for a relaxing or activity holiday and with just five safari tents and three shepherd huts on a three acre site, it is a peaceful and calm retreat.
