Blessed Journeys is a family-owned, and operated short-term rental company based in Frisco, Texas. We own and manage 21 properties with attention to detail of style, supplies, decor, furnishings, and cleanliness. To this, we add excellent customer service with true Texas Southern hospitality!
Le Ann, Kevin, and Troy, design and maintain our homes to be more than just a housing option when a hotel isn't going to work. We provide a true "home between homes" experience, that creates new memories to share while your new home is found or built, an existing home is renovated, or one that takes the place of a loved family home with unexpected repairs. We are THOSE PEOPLE who have also traveled worldwide, and stayed in AirBnb's as guests and took LOTS of NOTES! We know what guests want, need, and expect, and also how to make it happen!
The "One Day When We Do This..." arrived in 2018, after Kevin was accepted into the Joffrey Ballet Texas Academy, in Frisco. Le Ann and Kevin relocated from Georgia to Frisco, Texas, and the idea finally became reality. In May, 2020, Troy also relocated from Georgia, and joined in our adventure! He brought mechanical and repair expertise along with the ability to open and serve more families with more homes. Together our motto is "May God bless you on your journey!" And, that's our goal, to bless our families, and guests with a 5 star experience during an otherwise stressful event in their lives!
We are more than "hosts", and we also understand privacy! We remain "at a distance, unless needed" with our philosophy, but are there when called with urgency! We also act as a concierge service in offering local opinions, connections, and advice when asked, supply drop off to your doorstep for all the things we provide to all our guests throughout their stay (TP, paper towels, cleaning products, coffee and tea service, hand soap, dishwashing soap, free and clear laundry detergent, dryer sheets, 5-gallon jugs of Texas Ozarka Spring Water each week for the hot and cold water dispenser) and more.
Kevin is a Chinese-born, first-generation American, and maintains his Mandarin language. He is an Appretice with Ballet Frontier in Ft Worth and his hobby is smoking brisket, ribs, and turkeys and creating Chinese cuisine. His position is the bookkeeper, supply "guy", and also handles small repairs for our homes.
Le Ann has enjoyed working with orphanages internationally, and has led mission trips abroad for many years throughout Eastern Europe, Asia, and Africa. She is the Chair of the Board for Be Love! Orphan Outreach Missions, (BLOOM), which she founded in 2012. Current projects are developing programs for windows and their children, and orphans in Ghana. Past projects include completing a dorm for orphaned and abused girls in Uganda, and drilling water wells in small villages outside of Punjab, Pakistan, with plans to build an elementary school for underprivileged children in an area where none exists.
Le Ann handles the day-to-day communication with our guests, and ensures we are meeting and exceeding, their needs on the platform, as well as updating decor, and concepts for our properties. Both Le Ann and Kevin are volunteer fosters for Tails from the Heart dog rescue, and have 2 adopted "big dogs" and two Shih Tzus.
Troy, is our lead diagnostic and mechanical, maintenance tech, and also an AirBnb property manager for some of our homes. Troy loves the outdoors and completed the full Appalachian Trail hike from Georgia to Maine after graduating from Kennesaw State University in 2017 with a degree in Info-Systems. He is our “cat guy” and his fur baby is Pasha. He is also a certified master mechanic and public Notary for the state of Texas.
Together, as a family-owned and operated Christian business, we service our own AirBnb homes, and those we manage for others, with diligence, attention, and care for our clients in every aspect possible.
We do not provide event, group, or weekend type stays, as we cater to the family with fur babies and/or children for longer stays. Some of our guests have stayed as long as 16 months, while most generally stay 1-6 months at a time.
Therefore, the supplies and amenities we provide in our homes are not as sparse as others, and allow for family meals, nicer linens, leather furnishings, outdoor patio sets, and grills.
