Hi, I'm Yvonne. I came to Canada with my family from the United Kingdom in 2007. We moved to the wonderful County of Yarmouth Nova Scotia and have never looked back.
Just recently we bought the very run down Midtown Motel. The house was built sometime around 1900 and had the motel built onto it around 1960. It has a long history of serving tourists, in it heyday, it was named Fairmount Towers. Looking at some of its original brochures, it advertised itself as a Hay Fever Haven along with it being centrally located and near to the Ferry Terminal. In the latter years of this wonderful old building it has been neglected and become very run down. Now that we have acquired this building, we are very excited to bring it back to its former glory and beyond. The rooms that we are pleased to offer have been tastefully decorated, incorporating some of it's original features. The rest of the building has a long way to go, but we are determined to work our magic. When you arrive you have to look at the place through same lenses that we do. We see the potential but it will take a year for the outside to look more pleasing to the eye.
So come visit us and be part of our journey.
Please note that because this is a Motel, I am required to check guests ID on arrival. If you are using self check in, I will ask you to send a picture of your Government issued ID before sending you the code for the lock box.
