Fernie is a resort town located in the East Kootenays of the British Columbia Rockies. Our small, friendly town has a big back yard where locals and visitors can hike, ski, bike and fly fish. We invite you to come join in our outdoor adventures. Every season has it's reason for getting outside and exploring this natural paradise.

This large house is located in Annex across from the Elk River - just a 10 minute walk to town, 10 minute drive to ski hill. We are dorectly across street from the Elk River and trails connecting to bike and xcountry ski trails. There are 3 bathrooms, one ensuite in master bedroom.
Three of the bedrooms have queen size beds; the kid's bedroom has a double, bunk and a single bed.
-Large entry for storage of skis and equipment
- Deck has iron wrought tables, chairs, a propane heater and Weber gas grill.
-Natural gas fireplace, in- house sauna and private outdoor hot tub.
The house includes all the comforts of home: full washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, large range and oven, large fridge with freezer, wifi, cable TV, sound system.
All linens, kitchen necessities and cleaning supplies are included.
You will love the location of our private home - cross country skiing and fishing are just steps away from the door.
The deck has seating for 6 with a propane heater and Weber gas grill.
You are a walk away from restaurants, grocery stores and biking/hiking trails.
Fernie is a small, community- minded town with big outdoor adventures for everyone in the family.
Private sauna and hot tub.
We walk everywhere in the winter months and ride our bikes during the non-snow seasons. There is a shuttle close by which takes skiers back and forth to the hill.

Actively retired. Fernie, B.C. My wife and I moved here in 2008 from the Maritimes where we owned and operated a sustainable dairy farm. From the Atlantic to the Rockies was a big change, but we love it here in the Elk Valley where we can enjoy skiing, biking, hiking amd fly (Website hidden by Airbnb) indoor season.
