Chai T House is a nature-friendly villa located in a beautiful setting overlooking the rice fields. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large kitchen and spacious seating areas within a tropical garden. It is the perfect distance from Ubud town and has a great pool to chill out after a day of exploring!

Chai is a two storey two-bedroom house with use of a beautiful shared pool. It has one bedroom upstairs with great views of the pool/rice fields and one bedroom downstairs in a separate pavilion. It has two bathrooms, a large kitchen, spacious seating areas and can accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 children (sofa beds). A baby cot (and babysitter) is also available upon request. Each bedroom has a double bed, mosquito nets and fans. It is designed for natural air flow using the concept of outdoor-indoor living with large sliding glass doors and an alang alang roof. With this eco design and ventilation, the villa has no need for air conditioning.
The swimming pool (with children's pool area) has an amazing backdrop of Lodtunduh rice fields. This is shared with the other T Houses but never busy and there is always a quiet time for a relaxing swim, whether during the day or watching the sunset over the rice paddies.
Chai House is a 5 to 10 minute drive from Ubud centre and 10 minutes from the Monkey Forest. The setting offers true tranquility as it is set away from the town with a few restaurants close by. Order in a food delivery from one of Ubud’s many restaurants or the staff are available to make you an evening meal upon request using fresh local ingredients (please order one day in advance). We have a fantastic local driver who can bring you from/to the airport (or other location) at very reasonable rates. He is highly recommended with good English speaking, an exceptional knowledge of Bali and will show you some amazing places to visit. Guest feedback: "Honestly, don't waste your time thinking you want to take yourself everywhere and find it on your own: you'll never find it. He will save you loads of time and stress and is a genuine great guy."

Chai House is part of the little community of T House Klod, The 12 T Houses are in a unique and peaceful setting, giving the feeling of being immersed in the surrounding environment (complete with the singing of frogs at night). The house offers you an experience to stay in an environmentally friendly and ecologically sustainable compound, which is a part of Balinese village life. During your stay, you will experience a serenity that cannot be found in central Ubud.

The houses are managed by a friendly and helpful staff from the local village. At night the watchmen are there to provide security and assistance. With guests from all over the world. enjoy the privacy of your own space or mix with interesting people and make new Balinese and international friends.
