Our guest house is a 650 sq. ft. studio apartment over our detached garage, and only 300 steps to beautiful Kure Beach. It's perfect for a long weekend, a relaxing week at the beach, or an extended winter get-a-way for snowbirds. You'll love the ocean breezes and starry nights.

The apartment has a king-size bed and a queen-size sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped with full-size refrigerator and freezer, stove and microwave, coffee maker, blender, pots/pans, dishes, etc. There is a full bath with a shower as well as an awesome outdoor shower. We do not include laundry facilities however there is a laundromat about a mile away.
We can supply linens (sheets and towels) for an extra $10.
A small pet (less than 40 lbs.) are allowed with pre-approval and a one-time fee of $35. Two pets may be allowed with pre-approval and a one-time fee of $50. All pets must be house-broken.

We have bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, standup paddle boards and kayaks you can borrow. In addition, there are gas and charcoal grills available.

We will consider one small pet for an additional $25 nonrefundable fee. Please let us know if you will be bringing your pet at the time of booking. There will be an extra charge for a large dog or multiple dogs. Dogs must be on a leash at all times and are only allowed on Kure Beach from October to April.
We have an outside cat who loves people but isn't fond of other animals.
We can supply linens (sheets and towels) for an extra $10.
Please be aware that we have a strict no weapons policy for the property (while on the property they must be locked in the trunk of your car).

We love Kure Beach. It's a quiet, family oriented beach town that is easy access to everything you need for a great beach get-away whether your active or just want to relax. Fall and spring are especially beautiful here with mild sunny weather.

Dan is originally from NJ and I'm from FL--we both grew up going to the shore/beach as much as possible so living at the beach has always been our dream. We both teach at UNCW and Dan is a semi-retired swim coach as well. We love enteraining our friends and family and to sail, travel, cook and be active whether it's swimming, biking, kayaking, surfing or hiking.
