“The quiet neighbourhood of El Putxet i el Farró hides a beautiful historic spot of Barcelona. La caseta de las Ninas (The doll’s house) is a small house built in 1860 by Delfí Ginovart y Núria Coma i Borras family. It was meant for children to play inside and it is fully covered by ceramics with details to be discovered in every tile. Even though it has been vandalized, it is worth the visit. The experience can be completed with a walk to Mercè Rodoreda’s gardens and Putxet park’s panoramic views of Barcelona.”

“If you like roses, this is definitely your park. It’s basically a rose garden with over 245 varieties. During May and June, it’s quite a show, an explosion of color—and the smell is amazing. If you’re in Barcelona on the day of Sant Jordi, don't give your partner a rose, as is customary in Catalonia. Give them a whole garden! The park is named after writer Miguel de Cervantes, an homage to the kind words he wrote about Barcelona in his most celebrated book, Don Quixote.”

“This amphitheater and gardens are rather tucked away in Montjuic Park but are well worth the effort of getting there (in my opinion). This part of the park isn't particularly large, but the gardens are charming, there are benches to sit and read or have a rest, not to mention a fabulous view of the city (especially for sunsets). ”
