“If you like evening or morning walks, the Sea Point Promenade is a beautiful walk next to the ocean, there are often dog walkers, runners and cyclists on this route. If you're feeling up to it, you can walk all the way around the cost to Clifton beaches and end up in Camps Bay. ”

Beach
“Referred to as the ‘French Riviera of South Africa’, Clifton beaches dazzle with its white sand and turquoise waters. Divided by granite boulders, the four beaches – namely First Beach, Second Beach, Third Beach and Fourth Beach – ensure visitors are really spoilt for choice when deciding where to swim or surf. First beach is particularly popular amongst surfers and beach volleyball players – a veritable playground of sporting people. Second and Third beaches are the beaches of the 20-somethings looking for a party and a good tan. Fourth beach is perfect for families as it has lifeguards, excellent facilities and a place to buy cold drinks and snacks.”

“Clifton Beaches are all located next to each other. The are named Clifton beaches 1-4, each with its own unique perks and all equally beautiful white sands and clear water. You can walk from one to the other along the beach. Must visit 100% visit the beach, when in Cape Town.”

“The crowd Surfers, groups of friends, families, and tourists. Best for Picnics at sunset, frisbee, beach bats, runs on beach and surfing. Chill factor Lose-feeling-in-the legs cold! You have to be super-brave to endure the freezing water, but once in, the refreshment factor is unbeatable. Bring Beach equipment, and a picnic for the day, as there are no shops or restaurants close by. Afterwards, head to Hout Bay and visit the Bay Harbour Market for a browse, beer and bite to eat at one of the many food stalls. If markets aren’t your thing, go for a late lunch or dinner at Lucky Bao. Where to find it Victoria Road, Llandudno, Cape Town”

“Misty Cliffs is something of a magical little hamlet that is also a conservation village bordering on a nature reserve, a wonderful place to find peace and quiet and a spectacular setting at the best of times. The beach is not very big, but lovely for walking on, and really close to the larger and far more popular Scarborough beach, which is popular with surfers. During peak season it can become a little inundated, but nothing like the very fashionable Cape Town beaches on the Atlantic Seaboard. Take a drive along this stunning road, and if you enjoy to surf or kite board, this is a spot not to be missed.”

“• Scarborough is host to 3 lovely restaurants and a small deli to cater for your needs. We are on the doorstep of Cape Point Nature Reserve and numerous scenic walks on the local mountain. The beach is a well-renowned surf spot and when the wind arrives the bay is dotted with windsurfers and kite-boarders. You can catch crayfish (during the gazetted season) just off the rocks if you're a diver or kayaker or collect fresh mussels - just make sure you have the required license! We are a short drive to many great tourist spots including Simonstown (10min), Kommetjie (10min), Cape Point (5min),,,, Noordhoek (15min) and Chapmans Peak Drive (20min).”
