5 Points is Denver's historic African American downtown. Once upon a time, Welton Street was home to some of the greatest jazz clubs in the country. The famous Rossonian is in the process of being restored to it's former glory and many music venues have sprung up around the neighborhood. Though the gentrification of 5 Points is well underway, it's residents are hoping to preserve it's diversity and sense of community.
This part of Denver is growing and changing rapidly! There are tons of galleries, street art, breweries, restaurants and bars nearby. We are close to Downtown but still quiet and neighborhood-y. please checkout our guide book to see our recommendations.
*This is an Urban environment. If you are uncomfortable being around folks of different cultures, classes, or colors, please find a different neighborhood to stay in.
