A mountain beauty that has it all-- true privacy, lovely new home, mountain views, adjacent national forest, ponds/creeks, and trails, located in Hiawassee wine country near beautiful Lake Chatuge. Located off a paved road, nestled in forest acreage with no neighbors in site! Wake up to a serene cool mountain morning, cozied up with your blanket, fresh roasted coffee and paper on the screened porch. Spend your days exploring all Hiawassee has to offer: hiking, waterfalls, vineyards, horseback riding, championship golf, fishing, sand beaches, water sports, boating, tennis, pickleball and more! Or, just spend a relaxing day kicking back on the property…walk the private hiking trail that follows a peaceful winding spring down to a large clearing in the forest amid small ponds and a shallow stream. We have plenty of trails, ranging from casual walking to vigorous hiking into the national forest. Even just walking the paved street is a beautiful outing. Spend a laid back day visiting the nearby wineries, antiquing in quaint Hiawassee and treating yourself to lunch at the lighthouse grill overlooking the lake. As your day winds down, grill out on the gas connected grill and sip your favorite beverage on the deck watching the sun dip behind Brasstown Bald, Georgia's highest mountain peak. Roast s’mores over a crackling fire in the stone fire-pit, gazing in wonderment at the star filled sky. If you brought the pooches, after they have worn themselves out in the pond and open field, relax while the dogs are secure on the gated deck or playing in the gated yard. If it rains—no problem: take in the nature from the screened porch, watch movies on the large flat screen TV with a warm wood fire, play board games, Wii or play ping pong! Retire for a restful sleep on the high end king and queen beds with 540 count luxurious sheets. See note below re 3rd bedroom.
For families with little ones, upon request, we provide a new crib and pack-n-play, and outlet covers.
3rd Bedroom: The third bedroom is in an alcove, walled on 3 sides, and set back from the lower floor living area as to be separate but it is open on one side, so not completely private. We set it up this way so it could take advantage of the windows and mountain views.

This is a long private private paved street, with only 3 new homes, evenly spaced out (one at the front, one in the middle, and ours at the end of the road in the cul-d-sac, all with surrounding acreage, so the neighbors are not within site. The public street that the private road adjoins has a long flat stretch that dead ends, and is nice for easy walking.
