Bright, light lovely room with single bed in beautiful Blackheath. Great location, easy, quick to London centre or adjacent Greenwich. It's a safe area, near the station in a lovely village with cafes, shops, restaurants and pubs. Also a great location for the O2 - a bus stops outside the square takes you there and it’s a frequent 24 hour service. I tend not to open my calendar if I’ve been uncertain about what I’m up to or too far ahead. If interested it’s worth sending a message asking..
Hi, I'm Elena. I live on my own in a townhouse which I love. It's in a lovely, quiet and safe Square. The location is great, only a 6 minute walk to Blackheath station and then easy access to the centre of London - 12 minutes London Bridge. The single room (a bit over 9x9 ft) on the 2nd floor is a good size for a single and is bright and light. The photos show a microwave and fridge in the room, but I've moved them and plates etc into a small adjacent room for your convenience. As this created space in the room, there is now a comfortable chair to sit in and have a cup of coffee or whatever. The bathroom, with bath and shower over the bath, is shared with me. However, as I sleep on the ground floor I tend to use the other bathroom when possible, so the whole top floor is often very private. I don't offer breakfast, but when you arrive, you will find tea/ coffee, milk, biscuits and fruit or yogurt to welcome you - many guests bring breakfast in from the local store or enjoy having it in a lovely cafe in the village. If you are thinking of making a booking request, please read all information including the Guest Access section below, so that you're happy with your choice. Also I welcome any questions prior to making a booking.
Blackheath village is great - naturally my favourite part of London. It has a very village feel to it, full of shops, cafes and restaurants, and surrounded by greenery, which if you like a walk will take you through Greenwich Park to Greenwich, the Cutty Sark and other tourist attractions, including boat trips to London Centre. If you're not a walker, there is a direct journey to Greenwich by bus. Getting to the Centre of London from Blackheath is quick and easy, and after a day in the busy tourist areas Blackheath is a quiet haven to come back to.
