“SM AURA TAGUIG. I personally avoid malls because I’m not a big fan of crowded places. And malls in the Philippines tend to get REALLY crowded especially during Fridays and weekends. But this one is an exception, 1 because it’s less crowded and 2 it’s very near :) has great restaurants at the top floors too! TIP: you can leave your bags or luggage at the baggage counter inside the customer service area in the Department Store. Also if it’s your first time here, start from the highest floors and work your way down. The best views and restaurants are at the top. ”

“Greenbelt Mall is only a 6 minute drive from the property. Greenbelt Mall, a complex of five contemporary buildings. What is truly unique about this mall is that each section (Greenbelt 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5) has its own style of architecture and features. Greenbelt 1 still has its own quaint little retail shops but is more concentrated on electronics and home appliances. Greenbelt 2 is comprised of fine dining restaurants. Greenbelt 3 has high- end retail shops on the ground floor, and coffee shops that have become the favorite hangout place for many coffee lovers. Exclusive retail stores include: Hermes, Calvin Klein, Kate Spade, Marks and Spencer, Kenneth Cole, Lacoste and more. The second floor has restaurant, bookshops and more. There are connecting walkways from Greenbelt 3 and 4 to Landmark and Glorietta. The cinemas are located in Greenbelt 3. Greenbelt 4 is small compared to Greenbelt 3. The space accommodate the shops of Louie Vuitton, Salvatore Ferregamo, Jimmy Choo, Balenciaga, Prada, Bulgari, Charriol, Gucci and other higher-end shops. Greenbelt 5’s main feature are the shops of top-caliber Filipino designers though there are also imported high end shops like Patek Philippe, Rolex, Panerai, Zara, Yves Saint Laurent, Banana Republic, Liz Clairborne, Paul Smith, Balenciaga and more. There are restaurants of all kinds and types at Greenbelt 2, 3,and 5. For fast food dining, Greenbelt 1 is the place to be. The Greenbelt Mall has a hodgepodge of clienteles. Though middle income can easily afford fine dining and some branded items at the mall, only the rich and moneyed can afford to buy the upper scale store merchandise, like $1000 handbags, without batting an eyelash. Hours: The mall is open every day. Shops open at 10:00 A.M. and close at 10:00 P.M. Coffee shops at the courtyard are open most days 24/7. Parking is not a problem.”

“While this is just a small market compared to bigger farmers market in the world, in Makati its a pretty good choice since you can shop for locally made products , mostly organic and definitely hand made. There is so much food option here as well with all the different stalls with various cuisines. ”

“The Greenfield Open Park is a small piece of green right at the heart of the city. It’s one of the newer weekend markets that have sprung around the metro, and is rich with adventures in food, fun, shopping and entertainment. You only need a little bit of daring and some cash, of course, to get the most of what the place has to offer. (You may spend at least P100-P150 on food, plus more if you plan to shop.) Greenfield is located within the Greenfield District along United Street in Mandaluyong. To get there by train, get off Shaw Boulevard Station and walk towards the location of the old Edsa Central. By car, take Shaw Boulevard and turn towards United Street.”

“Good place to buy textile for uniforms etc.. Not cheaper than Divisoria but almost the same minus the hassle of going to. The place has parking space although gets jam packed in the afternoon. Try to go here during mornings and look for Edith textile. They can give you a good deal for textiles and the people are knowledgeable on their products. Meat products and vegetables are also fresh and cheap. Local celebrities once frequented the marketplace before.”
