The caves here were once used by indigenous Bahamians as housing and storm shelters—by settlers for religious services and as a sources of nutrients for crops. Local Food & Restaurant
While on the shared property of " Studio Cafe" you won't have to go very far.
Enjoy the view of a sun-kissed beach on a breezy deck or the amazing Art work by local "Bahamian Artist" in an air conditioned dining room while enjoying a distinct casual dining experience, marked by fine ingredients, a well-crafted menu, delicious combinations of food and a well-stocked bar.
The climate is tropical, with a hot and rainy season from May to October (in which, however, the breezes temper the heat) and a cooler season from November to April, which is felt more on the north-western islands.
Proceeding from north-west to south-east, there is an increase in the winter temperatures as well as a decrease in the summer precipitation: this means that the north-western islands (Grand Bahama, Little Abaco, Andros and New Providence, where the capital, Nassau, is located) are cooler in winter and rainier in summer.
