Wir haben 11 Nächte zu zweit bei Carol und Marc gewohnt. Es war so viel schöner und angenehmer als in einem Hotel! Carol und Marc sind die freundlichsten und hilfsbereitesten Gastgeber, die man sich vorstellen kann. Wir haben sehr interessante Gespräche miteinander geführtund viele Hinweise erhalten. Die Beschreibung der Wohnung und des Zimmers sowie der angegebenen Mitbenutzungen des Appartements stimmen 100%ig. Wir haben uns in jeder Hinsicht frei und jederzeit ungestört gefühlt. Das Zimmer ist hell und freundlich, groß genug, und liegt mit angrenzender Gemeinschaftsterrasse nach hinten heraus. Die Lage des Appartments mitten in der Lower East Side ist phantastisch, hier ist die aktuelle Szene, Galerien, Musik, Restaurants und Bars, und ein Katzensprung führt nach Greenwich Village oder zum Broadway oder über den East River nach Williamsburg und Bushwick in Brooklyn, die aufstrebenden neuen Zentren der Hipster. Par où commencer .. Carol et Marc sont des personnes FORMIDABLES . Ils vous feront vous sentir comme chez vous dès votre arrivée , ils aiment échanger avec vous et veillent à ce que votre voyage se déroule vraiment pour le mieux !!! Accueil très chaleureux , vraiment rien à redire à part que ces deux personnes méritent vraiment à être connues, ainsi que leur appartement. Ce dernier est ... OUAH ,cosy , chaleureux, reposant et plein de charme. L'ascenseur qui arrive directement dans la cuisine nous a séduit. Le nécessaire de toilette était à notre disposition dans la salle de bain. Ce fut vraiment du confort , après une journée de marche dans NY, de rentrer chez Marc et Carol ! Et que dire du lit .. Un lit king size super confortable !! Nous avons été ravis d avoir séjourné en ce lieu. Si vous voulez loger dans un petit cocon chaleureux et reposant sans vous ruiner alors allez chez Carol et Marc , vous ne pourrez pas être déçus !!! Tout était comme sur la description, voir mieux encore. Nous le recommandons vivement à chacun. Merci encore à Carol et Marc pour tout.

the place is very comfy and nice, easy access to public transportation like subway. The house and the room is very clean, tidy and modern. We got a good sleep during the stay! Marc is very gentle and nice guy, treat us like friends, tells us what to do and where to go. And Carol is a very good host too! We got a very late flight in our check out date, they still let us keep their keys and leave our luggage inside their house. And we can come back anytime to get back the luggage, in this case we dont need to carry the luggage around for the whole day! Such a pair of nice hosts indeed! Looking forward to seeing you in Hong Kong in the future!

My friend and I had a wonderful 10 days at Carol's and Mark's place because : Carol and Mark are great hosts they created a very welcome atmosphere and were very attentive to all our requests,we felt like at home !!!! Thank you !!! The flat- great interior design ,very clean and well equipped perfect for rest, entertainment and cooking. The location - brilliant!!!! loads of interesting places in the area close to the underground with links to all areas in Manhattan Brooklyn etc. I would strongly recommend this place but you need to be quick!!!! it is so popular and fully booked !!! Trust me it is worth it !!!

Carol was welcoming from the beginning with her messages about restaurant recommendations and being very organized. She and Mark greeted us warmly at the door and we had some lovely conversations in their home. The place was very clean, and they were clear about all the things we could use in the apartment. It is clear they are Airbnb expert hosts.

We loved our stay with Carol and Marc. They were exceptional hosts offering us refreshments , a beautiful clean room with a private bath, but the most important, they gave of themselves. That's what make a difference today, people that are genuine, people that smile, people that care. This couple possess that…..oh yes, let's not forget the great location and wonderful open spaced apartment that was so welcoming….but that you get in the listing info….the hosts are the best and we can't wait to revisit them!

What a wonderful place! Jeffrey was waiting for me when I arrived and his warmth was very welcoming on a chilly NYC day. Everything was perfect from the location to the breakfasts, to the chats and the fully stocked bathroom. Jeffery made me feel at home and I can truly say that a stay here is not just a bed but an experience like no other. I felt like I had a true New York experience with a true New Yorker. Anyone who has the opportunity to stay here is very lucky indeed. The location is perfect to get anywhere in NYC. I walked back after a Broadway show and after catching an ice hockey game at Maddison Square garden. The subway stops are just up the street and I was able to get to Brooklyn really easily. For tips on places to eat, just ask Jeffery, he is a wealth of knowledge on all things New York. The bed was big and comfortable, the apartment was always clean and the rooms were warm in the winter. Thank you so very much Jeffery, I will be back and would not hesitate to recommend your place to my family and friends.

It was very pleasant to stay at Jeffrey's home who is easy to live with, attentive and in good communication with you. You feel at home and you share in live his unstoppable creativity. Jeffrey is a real New Yorker who knows good places and addresses and gave me good advices.

Jeffery's place is the real deal! The room is clean and quiet, and the kitchen is nostalgic with all spices you could ever imagine. Jeffery also helps me with my luggage and direction to JFK. Wish I could stay longer! Ps: If you are a scarf lover, Jeffery is your man.

Jeffrey is THE most wonderful and caring host! First, Jeffrey gave detailed responses and helped me find the easiest travel to and from JFK to his beautiful apartment. He was timely in his responses and went above and beyond to help ensure I had a wonderful trip. Jeffrey greeted me with pineapple and tea! On beautiful china! It was easy to see within 5 minutes why Jeffrey is a "super host" because he truly loves hosting his travelers. The apartment is beautiful and the kitchen is amazing and very functional. You can even see the Empire State building from the kitchen! I found my room very cozy and comfortable and an incredible price for the location. THE LOCATION. Staying in Hell's Kitchen was an absolute dream. Tons of delicious and affordable restaurants and quirky little shops. Loved my stay and I felt very safe. I have nothing but the best to stay about Jeffrey... when I return to New York I will only stay with Jeffrey because he is simply the best. Jeffrey, thank you for your hospitality, the wonderful conversations, showing me your art, your kindness, and your quick wit. You are a beautiful soul and I'm so grateful I got to spend time with you. So much love and gratefulness!

Fabulous stay, Jeffrey is a great host, incredibly accommodating. I had a very early start to my last day & Jeffrey bought us muffins & coffee, a lovely surprise for 5.30am :) He helped with my luggage. Nothing seemed to much for Jeffrey. Very close to several sights & Central Park, everything is walkable & within easy reach. Great guy & great scarfs......... I would not hesitate to go back & spend more time getting to know Jeffrey.

Michelle est une hôte au Top 👌🏻 l'appartement est Bien situé entre JFK et Manhattan (sur la ligne du métro)! Le quartier est sympa avec de nombreux commerces ouverts 24/24. Petit appartement joli et Bien aménagé pour un couple. Au calme.

Michelle's space was great for our long weekend visit. The space was clean and the linens were nice. We didn't find the bed as comfortable as other reviews, but we slept fine. It was a cold weekend and the heat was all the way up, but the radiator was very noisy. This is no one's fault, but just be aware if you're a light sleeper. The cable wasn't working when we arrived but we notified Michelle and she had it fixed within 30 minutes. She is a very sweet woman who clearly cares about her visitors. One recommendation would be for Michelle to add a full length mirror somewhere in the unit. The only mirror is above the bathroom sink. The walk to the subway is about 10 minutes and easy to find. The subway stop is near many stores, which was very convenient. We enjoyed the bagel shop at the end of Michelle's block! Overall a good value and we enjoyed our stay.

Amazing Airbnb. Looks exactly like the photos, the bed is so comfortable (slept like a baby) and great location. A lovely neighbourhood with friendly people and a nice coffee shop and bagel shop close by. 10 minute walk to subway stations which gets you to Manhattan in 30 minutes. Michelle was a great host and checking in and out was easy. Could not recommend enough!

Fantastic, clean, comfortable spot in Brooklyn. Only a short stroll from the subway, and close to several good options for food, drinks, and groceries. The neighborhood is gorgeous and worthy of many long walks.

Our stay at Michelle's Studio was the best we've had so far through the portal. Michelle went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was comfortable- it never felt like we were guests, we were treated as friends. The house is very well equipped (new kitchen appliances, bathroom fixtures, etc.) and spotless. The apartment is well located- lots of shops and restaurants in the vicinity, and the subway station is about a 7-8 minute walk away. If you're planning to hang around Manhattan-Brooklyn, and want a warm and comfy environment to stay in, Michelle's home is definitely the place to book.

Very easy access for me and perfect location for all things east village and les.

Thanks Reka for our wonderful stay. We warmly recommend this flat: quite, cool, confortable in east Village full of restaurants , green and nice people. You can walk safely anytime. The apartment was clean and exactly as described. Reka and her friend made our stay at home in the big apple. Don't forget to enjoy the amazing view from her terrace.

Nice place, great neighborhood. Loved the bedroom / bed.. very comfortable. Fairly quiet (on tree lined street, 6th floor).. slept comfortably with the large window open (in June). And near lots of great restaurants, bars, etc.. and a nice park 2 blocks away. Reka was very pleasant, as were flat mates (couple that live on 2nd level). I was only there 2 nights and one day (and was out most of the time), but felt very welcome. Also appreciated they gave me a key to lock the bedroom. Two issues: Had a little trouble reaching Reka before arrival the first night, which caused some anxiety (how will I get in?), but after a few attempts, we did connect (her ringer was off). And someone was soaking laundry in the bathroom sink for an afternoon thru the night, which meant I had to use the kitchen sink to wash face / brush teeth, etc.. not ideal. Overall, had a good experience and would stay there again. Thank you

I stayed here with my boyfriend for two weeks and we absolutely loved it! Reka and Erin were very welcoming and had great recommendations. They also had some friends staying who were really nice too. It is a 15-20min walk from the nearest subway, which was the only downside but for us was worth it to be in such a great neighborhood. Loved all the bars and restaurants in the East Village and would definitely recommend staying in this neighborhood! Really comfortable bed too!

Listing is exactly as posted. Excellent view from the roof terrace, room was very comfortable. Great location with lots of bars and eateries nearby. Reka was very friendly and welcoming, recommended places to go and directions round the city. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting NYC.

Not near to the station. 15minuts walk from the nearest station. But Host is very kind and friendly and very cute.we had good time in NY.

Elegant accommodation. Quiet. So close to subway and coffee shops. Fabulous location. Very comfortable bed. Private bath is so nice. Heat and air con controls easy to use. Closet to hang your things, desk for writing or reading. Craig is a warm, welcoming host. Perfect accommodation for 1. Could be a little cozy for 2. I enjoyed staying here and you will too.

Craig is a wonderful host - informative and attentive and welcoming. The apartment is exactly as advertised. It's comfortable, well-appointed, with sun and open views in a great neighborhood. A totally enjoyable stay.

We have been so happy in this wonderful apartment. Very well located, very well decorated, very clean, even better than in pictures! All indications were easy to follow and Craig made us feel very comfortable and shared many tips with us. Craig also accommodated us the last day in order for us to be able to store our luggage after check out.

Walter's place has everything we needed. it is very close to Subway station, trains J & M. Walter & his family are wonderful Hosts and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay

Walter was very accommodating in our arrival. Our flight was delayed several hours and he met us at around midnight to let us into the apartment. The room was as described and in a convenient area of Bushwick. Check out Archie's for good pizza and beer.

Ficar no apartamento do Walter foi a melhor escolha que poderíamos ter feito. A hospedagem é bem localizada e muito próxima a estação do metrô (Myrtle e Kosciuszko). Próximo ao local existem mercados o que facilitou muito pois tomávamos café no próprio quarto (há geladeira, microondas, cafeteira..). Walter foi muito querido e nos recebeu muito bem... nos deu dicas em como se locomover bem como locais para conhecer. Deixou alguns snacks e bebidas de cortesia além de refis para cafeteira. Banheiro estava limpo com diversos shampoos além de toalhas e papel higiênico. Havia também itens para higiene pessoal (cotonetes, absorventes etc). Chegamos na cidade pela manhã e o Walter guardou nossas malas para que pudéssemos aproveitar a cidade visto que o check-in é feito à tarde. É a segunda vez que viajamos para NYC e foi uma experiência maravilhosa! Podemos viver a vida local com muita segurança. Indico a hospedagem do Walter à todos que querem visitar Nova York, pagar pouco, ter conforto e segurança além de ótima recepção. Um abraço! Walter, te esperamos no Brasil!

The place was as described. Host was friendly, helpful and very accommodating. It was a few short blocks to the subway. Cozy spot in Brooklyn and easy access to the subways. Quiet at night and the room was great and the bed very comfy. Would stay with Walter again. :)

Ian's place is clean, reasonably priced and awesome. Tons of natural light and plants in a very cool neighborhood walking distance to a plethora of top notch bars and restaurants as well as blocks to The L station which is 1 quick stop to the east village. Highly recommend the place as a person who travels frequently. He is also very easy to work with and very responsive. If you are like me and always stay in Manhattan, this is a great change up and eat to see The hippest part of Brooklyn.

Ian Place was the best Airbnb property I've had thus far. The place is very clean and well kept. The location is in the middle of many restaurants and bars. The place is a short walking distance to the train, and I suggest that renters check out the cute restaurants called Sweet Chicks down the street from the apartment. I will definitely be renting this property again.

We had a great weekend staying at Ian's apartment. The pictures and descriptions lived up to the reality of the place. Ian was an excellent host and made us feel welcome and at ease in his home. The location is perfect. Great bars and restaurants in every direction. You could probably not leave the block and still have a hellavuh visit!

Ian's loft was the perfect place for our trip to New York: Manhattan is only 15 - 20minutes away and Williamsburg/Brooklyn is a great neighbourhood. During one of the hottest weeks of the year, the AC was a lifesaver.

We had a good stay. The location is superb; this is a great part of Williamsburg two blocks the Bedford Avenue subway station. The rooftop area is a nice bonus. Plenty of nice places to eat / drink around here. I mostly corresponded with Ian electronically (a friend of his met us when we got there), but he did pop in one afternoon to water the plants and gave us some good tips. The place was not super clean when we got there but I put that down to Ian's just returning from a trip / being busy. The floors could use a scrub though.

Very nice and comfortable Brooklyn flat in its original condition. At the corner of the "bobo hipster" nevralgic street (Bedford Avenue) in Williamsburgh. Very close to Manhattan. Great experience thanks to Ian (very helpfull and flexible).

The apartment was easy to find and Ian was always quick to respond to inquiries. We did not meet him but communicated through texts often. Ian's place is in an old warehouse and has a great open feel, it overlooks all the street action. Both the apt. and neighborhood felt safe. The L train is very convienent but do get familiar with the J & M because the L isn't always reliable. The walk to the J/M was easy and passed many bars, restaurants and bakeries. The whole neighborhood is brimming with great restaurants and bars, so many that it's painful to choose between them. There are several large and small grocery stores around as well as thrift and book stores. It is noisy in the apartment at night from the late night, all night activity in the streets and from the great old wooden (squeaky) floors so it's best to bring ear plugs or go join the fun. It's also very bright at night so a good eye cover is advisable. The apartment is clean, comfortable, welcoming but not fancy. The plants are great. The shower had very good pressure and plenty of hot water. The beds were comfortable and the five of us liked the privacy of three bedrooms.

It was good for a one night stay. Had to put towels down due to bottom of door had too much space, and you could see someone’s feet.

Came here to see a play, and the location is truly fantastic. The room is small but normal by NYC hotel standards, and fairly clean.

Not much more than a quick sleep and go hotel.

Beware- additional daily fees AFTER what is listed on the Airbnb checkout. Had to pay additional city taxes per day which was mentioned in the booking details but not the checkout fees on Airbnb. If you are staying here long term, anticipate extra fees of $100-$200. As I told the staff, the hotel should not be taking additional fees past what I agreed to in my checkout on Airbnb. The rooms are clean and close to all Times Square activities.

John's place is amazing and extremely clean! He's right there if you have any questions or concerns and was extremely helpful. The place is near a lot of restaurants and stores so that was a bonus as well. I'd definitely stay here again.

It was a nice stay overall. I was a bit confused about the ride time to manhattan, it was stated 12 minutes ride by train L. But it’s actually around 35 minutes ride as the apartment is in Ridgewood, Queens. Also it was quite unusual for us to share living room, kitchen and bathroom with other people, but that wasn’t an issue for us as we only stayed one night in NY. Apartment itself is adorable and cute. Also very clean and tidy with fresh towels provided. Great communication with a host, very responsive. Would be a good option for young people/friends/students/couples. As it might be noisy at night. You’ll find some shops and coffeehouses around(we had our breakfast at Milk&Pull which is right around the corner). Also Domino’s pizza is 2 min walk from the apartment(it’s open till 2am, we had a nice pizza for dinner)

Check-in/out was easy, the Bathroom was well maintained, living room was nice, and the AC worked, but the bedroom was so dirty and dingy. Bedroom sheets were clearly not washed from previous guests. Fresh stains were all over the bed sheets and pillows. Everything in the room was damp including the sheets and stayed damp throughout my whole stay making it hard to sleep.

It's a really good place at a reasonable price and a location that makes everything convenient (very close to a subway stop). It's super clean. The host always replies to my message quickly.

I wish I could give 10 out of 5 to John and Ninas pop house. After freezing in the cold for 7 straight hours, their warmth really touched us. John is an amazing host and a really amazing person to talk to. I highly recommend his place to anyone travelling to NYC.

Close to train into city, myriad local places for coffee/food/etc, and perfectly sized room for traveler with or without bags. Highly recommended; will certainly check for availability next time I'm in town!

David’s place was nice. But outside it’s a massive construction going on. So if you like long sleep it won’t happen. Great communication easy to check in. We asked for kettle and David sent it to us same day. Also he managed to check in us early which is massive bonus. Thanks

This apartment is in a great location. Very convenient to walk to shops, restaurants, subway, and central park. Maria, the host, was very responsive. Check-in and Check-out were seamless. The apartment was spotless on move in. We originally thought being on the fifth floor without an elevator would be an issue, but it really wasn't.

Even thought the apartment has some minor flaws, its position really makes it a great stay if you're willing to spend even more than a few days in NYC. The neighborhood is surrounded by all kind of stores and places to eat and it's really close to Central Park and to the subway (both a ten minute walk). Maria was really nice and accommodating. Be sure to have a drink at the Jeffrey Craft Beer and Bites which is just around the corner!

Not interested

I've been to NYC many times; hands down staying with Tim has been the best experience so far. Tim's place was awesome; it was super clean, comfortable and located in the best neighborhood in NYC! Even better was Tim's hospitality. He's a great host. He was easy going and provided lots of advise about where to eat, sightsee and hangout. I'd recommend Tim to anyone.

Le logement est conforme à la description avec tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon séjour. L'emplacement est idéal avec le métro à proximité. Quant à Tim c'est une personne serviable et à l'écoute. N'hésitez pas à lui poser des questions il fait son possible pour y répondre ou pour vous aider. En bref très bon séjour !

My stay with Tim was great. Like all the reviewers said the place was very clean and Tim was a great host. I didn't get to know the area that well because my business was in Midtown but it looked like there were lots of great restaurants and bars within 2 block range. The 24 gourmet deli literally right next door was great for getting a bagel early in the morning and something to snack on late at night. It was a couple blocks away from a major subway station so I could be at my meeting(near Time Square) in 17 minutes from door to door. There is also one of the new Citi-Bike stations a couple blocks away. The check-in process was simple and clear.

Fue muy agradable quedarnos allí, todo estaba muy ordenado y limpio. Los anfitriones son muy amables. Sin duda regresariamos un futura ocasión.

Appartement vraiment sympa ! Nous sommes restés 2 semaines et vraiment, il y avait suffisamment d'équipements et de place pour se sentir bien. Le fait d'avoir une penderie et une salle de bain privée (top au passage) est un vrai plus, qui permet en quelque sorte d'avoir la sensation de louer un appartement et non une chambre ! L'emplacement n'est pas central mais proche du métro (10min au plus à pied) ce qui permet d'aller aux 4 coins de NYC sans aucun problème. Both hosts were very friendly and helpful. We hadnt been to nyc before and so they gave us great tips and advice on where to eat and where to see. great place to stay. was exactly how described. a 10 min easy walk to the nearest subway station too! as the hosts were working during the night you actually have the whole place to yourself! cosy room and quiet area too. definitely recommend this place to anyone! thanks hernan and chelsea!

Loved staying in East Harlem with Hernan & Chelsea! They recommended Taco Mix, a great Mexican spot a few blocks over, and we appreciated the feeling of privacy that the bedroom provided. Bed is very comfortable.

The house was great and the placevis very clean. The store is conveniently two blocks away. Only thing for me was a little further uptown than I realized, but overall great experience and pretty cheap from airport using Uber Pool from LaGuardia.

Hernan and chelsea were very helpful and accommodating, extremely friendly, fast to respond and knowledgable on how to get around. The room was exactly as described if not nicer. It was everything we needed for a perfect stay, easily accessible to various public transport options and close to Central Park. Would definitely use again and recommend to my friends.

Myself and my fiance spent 4 days in New York, using Hernan and Chelsea's place as a base. The property is a a two bed ground floor apartment in the Harlem area, about 15 mins from the 6 Subway line. There's the guest room and Hernan and Chelsea stay in the other room. There are two bathrooms in the property, so we had our own bathroom to our self which was really nice. The shower/bath had warm water and good pressure. The apartment and all the rooms were very clean. We were told that we could use the kitchen amenities whenever we liked but we ate out for the whole duration of our stay. We only met Hernan once during our stay, as he worked nights. We met Chelsea only a couple of times - with one of the times being on arrival and she helpfully told us everything we needed to know. The few things that I would point out, which may help for future guests: - The WIFI password for the internet which we received on the welcome email from Hernan and Chelsea did not work for us. We tried on both of our phones but it wouldn't connect for either of us. This may need to be checked and changed. - The mattress for the guest bed was too soft (we likened it to a marshmallow. sorry guys). This meant we both sunk into the middle of bed and woke each other up during the course of the night. - The apartment is a 15 min walk from the nearest 6 Subway station. This was fine for us and we didn't mind the walk. But at night this walk could be a little daunting for some, as there were a quiet a few undesirables about. Overall all we had an awesome few days in New York and Hernan and Chelsea's apartment provided a great base for our stay.

Chelsea and Hernan are really great hosts, they made us feel at home right away. The welcome breakfast was a pleasant touch, and they even offered me cakes for my birthday! Their apartment is nice and well provided, and our bed was very comfy! I totally recommend them!

Graziella is very nice and considerate, also very helpful on suggestions for first time new york visiting. The place is big and close to the train station, which is very convenient to explore Manhattan. I also have mention one thing, I left my key at Graziella's place, she found it and sent to me right away. If you travel, it would always be a good choice staying in places owned by a kind lady.

Graziella was a very accommodating and friendly host and she was quick to reply with answers to any questions we had. My girlfriend and I booked her home for a week and we absolutely loved it. The place is huge(biggest airbnb I've stayed in NY), it already looks big in the photos but we were still surprised when we walked in to see how spacious it was. It was very clean as well and the queen bed was comfortable. The shower was probably my favorite part, the dual shower head was wonderful to relax under and unwind after a long day out on the town. I've stayed at other airbnb's with high traffic on the streets but here the bedrooms are in the back of the house, far from the street so you won't be disturbed. It is a very quiet part of the neighborhood when night falls which was perfect for us. I would definitely book Graziella's place again!

This is a great house to stay. The house has a washing machine, and dryer, this is the best that you can find in Brooklyn, you will not need to go to Laundromat. Very stylish Kitchen. All furniture from Ikea. Excellent stove for cooking. Nice comfortable bath. There is a coffee maker for coffee lovers. There are all the dishes that you may need for cooking. You can live like at home and do not care about anything. Everything is already provided. Convenient area, everything is close, to the metro station 15 minutes walk. You will love this place. Graziella Very responsive hostess, helped us a lot in everything. Even when we moved, she sent us mail to a new address. We are very grateful for her help.

I had a nice night at joes place. He was very friendly and gave me a big subway system card and showed me a lot. The room was small but nice. I didn't stay long but it was nice.

Apartment is great! Location is amazing, the house is very clean and affordable. It's literally what you're going to get by paying $150 for a night anywhere else. The room was perfect for my boyfriend & I, the AC worked wonderfully. The bathroom was clean. Jj was extremely helpful, the day I booked he sent me times and areas of free parking (I've never had another airbnb host do that.. ever) I arrived later than my check in time was supposed to be so Jj left the keys in a lock box and called me with the code (which was extremely convenient) he made us feel comfortable with asking any questions we had. I will definitely be back, thank you so much Jj!

Very convenient stay. Close to grocery stores, subway, and bus lines. Stayed almost a week and I was able to come and go for business. Bedroom was nice with desk and shelf. Great value.

Perfect Location and Host.

Great for a short stay in NyC! The host is great, very helpful with directions and made me feel very comfortable upon arrival and also with directions for travel etc. within NYC. Location is convenient and accessible 24hrs a day via public transport. It is a 5th floor apartment and since the bldg doesn't have a lift I had to haul my heavy bags up and down which was tiresome but manageable. Would definitely recommend the place to stay if you are traveling alone....Once again, would like to commend the host Jj on his hospitality!! Best, P

L'appt est situé au nord de Manhattan dans Harlem. Très peu sécurisant aux premiers abords mais nous n'avons eu aucun souci de la moindre espèce. Joe est très sympathique, l'appt semble être pensé pour des Airbnb. une petite chambre est mise à dispo parmi les 4 présentes avec un accès SDB et cuisine. La chambre est confortable et climatisée et dispose de rangement et de nombreuses prises électriques. Joe nous a fourni des adaptateurs! La nuit est bruyante dans Harlem (klaxon). Accès au métro très simple (200m ligne 3). Le quartier dispose d'une pharmacie et d'ne supérette ainsi qu'un Starbucks 400m plus haut. Idéal pour visiter NY à petits prix pour des voyageurs qui n'ont pas peur de vivre couleur locale. Joe est très arrangeant.

If you are looking for a central Brooklyn this apartment is great. Great subway availability a very short walk away. Charming neighborhood with great local restaurants north on Franklin Ave and Nostrand Ave. Great value for the price.

Guy is very chill and laid back, a great person to talk too and very knowledgeable about the area. I would come back and stay again.

Stayed a few nights at this place and the location could not be any more convenient. Subway stations are a short walk away and there are decent food options in the area as well. Though we were out in the city most of the time, when we did see Guy he was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Amer's flat is a great place, it's comfortable, fully equipped and lovely furnished. Unlike staying at a hotel, visiting Amer's place is more like staying at a friend's home. The house is a classic-style american brick building with the metal stairs, like in the movies. The flat has everything a traveller may need, including spices, sauces and a big stock of coffee :) there is a small parking lot right in front of the house, and it's affordable. As for the disatvantages (which are few), the neighbiurhood is a bit scary at first glance (although we were actually safe). And in my opinion the floor in the apt needs some cleaning. Also, getting to Manhattan from Jersey is a bit of a trouble, because you have to walk to the train station for 15 mins, than take a train which gets to the 33rd street in half an hour, then take a metro (paying again, as train and metro do not connect, like in many other cities). Driving to Manhattan will take less time, as Jersey is really close, but involves paying tolls, not to mention parking costs in NY. So allow about 40 mins to get to midtown.

Amer’s hospitality is the best! Check-in was a breeze and he made sure our stay was a pleasant one. He’s prompt in responding to all our queries and resolved any issues almost immediately. We has visited during a snow storm and he made sure we had enough supplies as we decided to stay in. Highly recommended.

Our host met us on the steps of the location. Pre arrival instructions were accurate and very helpful. The apartment was exactly as described, and helpful instructions on travelling in the area and other useful information were waiting for us on arrival. Provisions, like milk, coffee and other goodies were also supplied. Our host helpfully took us shopping at the local supermarket which was muchly appreciated. It was overall a very enjoyable experience with a friendly and helpful host.

Amazing place! The flat is everything you could want for a stay, with easy access to New York! The flat was warm, cosy and clean. Amer is a great host offering help from start to finish and welcomed us into the apartment with pizza! I want to go back already.

My partner and I stayed at Amer's apartment for 2 nights and had a really lovely time. The apartment looks even nicer than in the pictures, the bed is nice and comfy and Amer is very welcoming and left out maps and info. The train station is about a 15 min walk away, very easy to find but if you want to get a taxi it's only about $6. I would definitely recommend staying at Amer's.

Close to major public transportation: subway lines, buses, Amtrak, NJTransit, etc. Owners were responsive and answered all of our questions and offered perfect suggestions for restaurants, groceries, deliveries. I had a such a wonderful experience at Eden’s apartment. It is in an amazing location, around corner from Central Park, close to the Times Square for theater and cool restaurants, and also close to the majority of subway stations. Such a cool area. The apartment itself is beautiful and very comfortable staying. I already missed my time there. Eden was awesome host and helped us get settled in. He gave me all great tips for getting around the area.

This mini apartment is outstanding. The new renovations make the look very modern. It was very clean and spacious. Added amenities of roku and chrome cast in bedroom and living room area made the stay exemplary. The area also comes with great benefits of a wide variety of restaurants, grocery, etc in walking distance. The host was greta in communication. The stay was great. I have already booked my next stay here!l and can’t wait!

Excelente espaço, muito bem cuidado, extremamente limpo e é possível enxergar carinho em cada detalhe da casa. O Jason foi excelente, nos enviou uma semana antes um manual em Inglês e em nosso idioma (português) explicando como encontrar a casa e como entrar. A acomodação é realmente muito próximo a linha 2 do metrô. Foi o melhor lugar que já fiquei no Airbnb, indicaria de olhos fechados!

Jason was perfect host, good communication . Place itself was as it was advertised. Metrostation is very close. Nr 2 and 5 takes to Manhattan fast ( in case there is no traffic jam) . As weather turned cold the days we stayed in Jasons place, from outdoor cold came. There was possible to turn on heater, that made loud noise, so we preffed to put on one more layer of cloth on. So everything was fine. There was enough room for 3 people and and all luggage. For us the surrounding street life was a bit scary but it didn't seem dangerous as we were keeping inside at nighttime. I definitely suggest this place as it is totally relevant to the value.

We loved staying at Christophers place, and when we visit NY again we certainly come back! We spend most of our time in Manhattan, but loved wandering around Jersey City. Great breakfast at Wonder bagels(there's almost always a line, but worth waiting) or ChocoPain. Dinner at Skinners Loft(lovely place, good food). Books, cards and games at Word and we even checked out the vault in the bank next to the fried chicken joint(the bank even has a drive thru ATM at the back...) The PATH wil take you to WTC and even up to 33th street in 15-20 minutes(during the weekends a little bit longer, as it also stops at Hoboken) for only 2,75. We enjoyed the Trader Joe's English Breakfast tea, which was in the kitchen. Christopher knows his way around and had some very nice suggestions, even via email when we were wandering around NY! The room is large and light(could be a bit more dark during the night) and full of wonderful books and things. A big comfy bed, and a good shower. You have your own entrance to the room, which is nice if you get back late from the city. Contact with Christipher was easy and quick, and he's flexible. THUMBS UP!

I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!. it's the worst owners which we stayed. to get the keys, we waited outside of the apartment 4 hours in windy weather. and + 4 C. we stayed here only because there were no more places. the mattress is 10 inches from the entrance to the apartment. constant noise on the stairs. bathroom ceiling flaking. we went to bed at 10 p. M. the owner started the noise in the kitchen near us at 11:30 p. M. very indifferent to the guests to host. Good host need to appreciate those who give you money!

I'm so happy to know about this beautiful, affordable place to stay for visits to NYC. The neighborhood is lovely. Chris was very welcoming and the apartment was spotless (WAY cleaner than my own home, if we're being real). He was very communicative during the check-in and check-out process and was quick to answer questions before I made my reservation. This is a total gem! I'm already thinking about coming back for another visit.

Chris was a great host! We had a chance of talking a lot about New York and Jersey. He gave me specific advice about what places to visit and where to shop. Everything he suggested was wonderful. The place is conveniently located and you can get there any time, the trains run all day long everyday!

This is my first time airbnb experience and solo trip. Christopher's place was very cozy, comes with private entrance, safe neighbourhood and great value for money. His place is nearby to PATH train which is grove street station. He is very friendly and you can ask him on the places to visit while in New York. We had some really great conversation about a lot of things. This guy always made me laugh! I had such a great time staying at his place. It feels like home. On my last day, I supposed to check out at 12pm but he let me stay until my flight check-in time since there is no booking on that day.

Katie's apartment is amazing, so clean and with thoughtful touches I haven't seen in any other airbnb's. She was so helpful with instructions of how to get from the airport to the apartment and different ways to get into NYC. Using a Metrocard to get around is so easy, but it can't be used on the light rail from the apartment to the PATH station, but it is $2.25 or a $5 uber pool to get to the PATH station. Can't fault it at all.

Katie’s place was a cute and clean apartment with plenty of space. Parking was easy to find and didn’t have to park more than a block away. Also when we came she had left us a gift basket with snacks and drinks which was a nice touch. I highly recommend coming to this place and staying for a few nights.

This place was at a perfect area for me and my sisters stay, right in the middle of both places we were headed. The stay was nice and comfy and the others staying in the bnb were considerate.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans l appartement de Dave. Il est parfaitement propre, agréable, calme et fonctionnel. Le bus situé à 2 pas du logement nous amène en 15 minutes à port authority dans manhattan (sauf lors des périodes de circulation intense). Dave est réactif au moindre problème.

Dave's place is cozy, very well kept and in a really nice neighborhood. Nice variety of places close by to eat or grab decent coffee. Crossing over to NYC was just a few blocks of walking to the ferry or the bus stop. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Dave’s place was wonderful! It is in a quiet neighbourhood with a great coffee shop nearby. There was a bus that takes you into Manhattan minutes from his place. It offers a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the big city! I would highly recommend it to others!

The boys were really friendly and helped me carry my luggage up the staircase. I asked for directions for a few places and they were able to assist with that also. I didn't see much of them as I was out most of the weekend. Apartment was very clean and cosy.

Very cool Easts Village apartment with an amazing host Seth who is an artist by the way. Love his pictures. Location is awesome and very local. Very close to SoHo and Tribeca if you take Uber for example. Extremely clean room, kitchen and bathroom. Quiet. Loved it!

Great location

Ethan & Ira’s place is really nice and stylish. It’s super close to time square and wonderful choice if you are watching a Broadway show at night. There are many good restaurants nearby. The Broadway style decorations are beautiful. The stage photo of Ethan and the posters collection are really cool. The two rooms are cozy and large enough for a trip for friends. Ira helped us with the check-in and offered local tips. Overall speaking it was great staying at their place and I highly recommend it to future travellers.

The location is great - away from the Times Sq noise but close enough for transport convenience. The playground next door was a nice touch for the kids as well. It is a prewar 2nd floor walk-up, so definitely not for people with issues on the stairs or lifting luggage. One of the beds is not exactly comfortable, so it may be a problem if you have more than one person with back issues in your party. But overall, we had a great stay, and communication was very smooth. We checked in super late due to our late flight, but Kelly greeted us with a smile. Thank you!

Very tidy and lovely AirBnb apartment equipped with everything you need. A good bed and nice bathroom. The place was very clean and had all of the necessities. Tiphanie is a great host and there when you need her, Very nice and friendly. She was very accommodating and very quick to respond with any questions. She is also flexible with check-in and check-out time, which was extremely helpful. I had a great stay! Would absolutely recommend to stay there!❤️

房源地點算是黑人區,建議不要太晚回去.房間內部跟照片差不多,一張雙人床架在空中,另外一張雙人沙發和一張單人沙發.不過照片那張漂亮的陽台,實際上沒在整理,都是落葉和鳥大便.Michel非常熱情,但是黑人口音較重,講話速度又快,所以英文不好者溝通會較吃力.幾個缺點,第一因為是老房子隔音實在有點差,可以聽到樓上房客走路的聲音.房間提供很多食物(飲用水,零食,蘋果,冷凍鬆餅,泡麵,各式調味料)但是有部分食物是過期的,大家使用時要自己注意.另外浴室有一股很重的杏仁香味,我們離開那天早上發現浴缸疑似汙水逆流(前一天洗澡還沒問題).

Michael's place is wonderful. Let me tell how many ways: Location-spectacular! easy access to M60 for LaGuardia, and the 2-3 for downtown. Too many amazing restaurants within walking distance. Lenox Cafe is a must. Every morning! Space-high ceilings allow raised bed in the center of the room to create a spacious living/sleeping area. We had 6 people in for a visit, never felt crowded. Patio is also a major plus (when it's not raining). Amenities-plentiful snacks and coffee. Don't be afraid to make coffee with Cuban grind in the French Press. Four tablespoons makes a full pot. Absolutely lived up to expectations. Harlem is a diverse and energetic neighbourhood, a great addition to any New York adventure. Be sure to check out Amateur night at the Apollo (Wednesday nights). SO MUCH FUN! Close to Subway for easy access to city! Byrd is indeed a Superhost. Highly recommend!!

Todo lo que leímos sobre Michael y su departamento es verdad! Increíble desde que entramos, con un aroma riquísimo que nos hizo sentir en casa. Las fotos no mienten, todo es así y el deck está lleno de ardillas y pájaros. Está excelentemente ubicado, a cuatro cuadras del subte y tiene un supermercado en la esquina con mucha variedad. Ademas cualquier cosa que necesites la conseguís en la 125 st! Cuando llegamos nos ayudó con las valijas y tenía muchas manzanas, waffles y barras de cereal entre otras cosas preparadas para nosotros. Además de una alacena llena de conservas por si necesitábamos para salir de apuro! Siempre dispuesto a contestar cualquier duda que tengamos, y eso que tuvimos muchas. Sin lugar a dudas si vuelvo a Nueva York, voy a volver a lo de Michael!

Verhuurder stond ons op te wachten en was heel vriendelijk. Koelkast bevatte allerlei lekkers en water. Stond voor ons klaar om een taxi te zoeken, bij vertrek. Alles was oké.

Appartement correspondant au descriptif de l'annonce. A 5 minutes à pieds du métro, ligne centrale de New York. Michael est un hote chaleureux et accueillant. Il nous a donné beaucoup de bons conseils et de bonnes adresses proches de l'appartement. Je rejoins tous les commentaires très positifs déjà postés. Merci Michael !

Alright, I got this hotel via Airbnb thinking it would be convenient and maybe cost effective, but unfortunately I did not read the reviews prior to booking, I would have saved myself $500. Don’t book via Airbnb, it’s way too expensive, and per night they charge like $125 on their website. The place was okay, convenient location and customer service was good. But the fee at the end, the $300 FEE at the end was a nasty surprise. Total rip off and biggest scam if I’ve ever seen one. DO NOT BOOK VIA AIRBNB ! I REPEAT, DO NOT BOOK HERE! Save your money and book elsewhere, or if you want to stay here, go on booking or something. This is no luxury motel. Just convenient location, that’s all.

Beautiful room inside the Stewart Hotel. More space than I imagined and gracious front desk and staff support.

Die „große“ Suit viel kleiner aus als erwartet, ärgerlich war auch das nur eine der drei ausgegebenen Schlüsselkarten funktioniert hat. Die Lage des Hotels ist super und die Zimmer sind Sauber, nur die nachträglich erhoben 60$ Steuern sind deshalb nicht gerechtfertigt.

Photos are a little misleading. It does have great space. Bed was awesome. Bathroom was way too small. Shower even smaller. Only complaint. Other than that, happy with price and very happy with location.

Perfect location for exploring Manhatten and Brooklyn. Great view of the bridge, rooms clean and tidy and staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

Expect great service and clean rooms. The service was very professional and accommodating. The location of the hotel is perfect for our needs. Definitely will stay there again

It was nice and clean. We paid $42 extra then the price quoted on air bnb so please add this to your price when thinking about staying. You can find cheaper and better places than this once you add that on. Generally clean and fine. Provides coffee in the room which is a nice touch and does have good views.

I'm always nervous about affordable hotels, but this place was great! Pretty room, nice bathroom with giant showerhead, extra touches like plenty of outlets and a selection of coffees and teas. The staff were SO friendly and helpful, they made it more Airbnb and less hotel. Really happy with the place, will definitely return here.

An amazing location! Close to trains and in walking distance of so much. I had an amazing view of the city. I loved my stay here :)

Very good value

Location! Location! Location! Walkable to key points of interests such as Kat'z Delicatessen, SoHo, East Village. Super clean and free small brekky every morning. Overall the customer service was great! One downside is that the queen standard room is pretty tight for two travelers with larger check-in bags. Was a bit of a squeeze!

The place was exactly what me and my friends were looking for: a safe clean affordable place to travel to manhattan. While I enjoyed the room and common space, what really made it for me were Veronica’s quick responses and eagerness to help. I originally told her that I was going to arrive at 6pm but due to a schedule change I told her last minute that it would be 4pm (wrong of me but very appreciative of how she accommodated for us). If you’re looking for a quick place to see NYC that’s affordable, clean, and the best bang for your buck, come here!

Veronica was very kind and did her utmost to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The place was great and it took only little time to get into Manhattan from there. Above all the place was very tidy and Veronica even made a cake for us. I would highly recommend staying with Veronica.

Staying in Veronicas place with my friends was a very good experience. The room is clean and very cosy. It is very easy to get to the Manhattan. We absolutely enjoyed staying few days in such a good apartment. I would come back anytime while visiting New York.

Very nice place, clean and has two beds. (perfect if you have a group of 3) Veronica welcomed us, and provided us some info about the transportation. The only thing is that there are overall 9 guest stayed at her place during our stay, and sometimes we had to fight over the bathroom, which is just fine with this price.

We had a great stay, Martin was responsive and super easy going and accommodating.

Martin’s place is artistic and clean. The word Penthouse was a little misleading, but he did explain that in the detailed description. We had a little miscommunication upon my late arrival so my personal experience wasn’t great, but if you’re looking for a place to rest your head in Brooklyn, Martin’s place could be a good choice.

We really enjoyed staying at Martin's place - it was just as described, everything was clean and spacious and Martin was very welcoming. We didn't see him very much during our stay but he made sure we had everything we needed, and he was as accomodating as possible during check in/out. The house is a few minutes' walk from central Williamsburg, and very close to the subway. Not much negative to say here, Martin's place is a great place to stay.

Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt, die Lage ist einfach top und vor allem die Dachterasse ein tolles Extra. Das Ein- und Auschecken ist ebenfalls reibungslos verlaufen und Martin war auch sehr nett. Kleines Manko: Das Zimmer hat kein Ausenfenster, demnach war die Luft nicht sonderlich gut.

Despite the strict no shoes in house policy, the place was dusty and dirty. We found lots of hairs from previous guests in our sheets, and my boyfriend got asthma from the conditions. The stove appeared to be broken or was missing a way to light it. The room has no window so light and airflow are poor. The pictures posted are way nicer than the place and furniture actually is. We would have been able to forgive some of these issues had Martin been nice and respectful. He was rude and unwelcoming. It didn’t seem like he enjoyed hosting or having guests, which made our stay uncomfortable. Also just an FYI Martin seems to be in the house quite a bit so privacy is minimal. We were glad to leave and check in somewhere else.

Martin is a great host. His place is clean, stylish and in an amazing location in Brooklyn. Before we arrived, Martin left us a long note with the answers to all our questions to help us feel comfortable and at home in his space. I would for sure stay here again.

Clean, roomy and modern space but the greatest things about Kam's place is: one, you are one block from the Hudson River with perhaps the greatest urban vista on the planet (a billion dollar view! RIGHT across from Time Square!) and two, the NJ Transit buses are super convenient, leave your car at Kam's and walk the city! (MUCH cheaper than paying the tunnel, parking and urban driving aggrevation). Overall, a great place to crash in NYC!

A beautifully appointed spacious and private apartment in a great neighbourhood with unreal views of Manhattan within a 5 minute walk. The aircon is extremely loud with no controls. Beautiful kitchen with fridge, 2 knives, 2 forks and 2 spoons and plates.

Cute neighborhood and the space was perfect. We stayed for a week and traveled to NYC everyday. We weren’t aware of NJ transit busses before we came so be aware of that. They were around $3.50 every ride but very easy to to figure out because of the directions Kam provided. The space was clean and had thoughtful things like shampoo, conditioner, face wash, and so on. 10/10 would recommend staying here. Also a heads up, the floor is really cold so bring slippers or thick socks.

Kam’s place was great! We were traveling to NYC for the first time, and we were a little nervous about getting around. He offered advice to me for using the transit system. He also left behind notes that details the process even more. The bus to Time Square is not even a block away. It’s so close. The apartment itself looked brand new. Everything was well maintained and clean. Some advice: Have cash handy to get into the city. It costs $3 in and $3 back to the apartment. We would definitely stay again!

I HIGHLY recommend staying at Kam’s Air BnB in New Jersey. You get the feel of staying in a smaller, safer community but just walk around the block and you can see the entire Manhattan skyline. Apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we needed to unwind after our busy days in NYC. Thanks for a great 3 days Kam!

Great price for the location. Check in was easy and they let us check in hours early. Bathroom could have used some extra cleaning. Overall a great stay!

The hotel was fairly nice. It will be about $130 more in taxes than the actual room price (I stayed for 2 days so this may be more or less depending on the time you stay). Very stylish hotel, the hotel could do a bit better of job with keeping the floors, walls, and other things more clean in the room.

Fantastic location. The City Kitchen hosts a fantadtic chouce & offering. The staff are really friendly & helpful.

Description not accurate. Arrived at the hotel to discover you have to pay an additional 50% at the hotel that they don’t inform you about in the app. Be careful, it’s such a scam. It may sound like a good deal, but you end up paying a lot more than you’d have to for other good hotels in the area.

Close to Manhattan attractions. Downsides are the small size of the room and the long waiting time for the elevator.

Row NYC is a great and affordable place at a very prime location. I had a wonderful stay at row. Highly recommended.

Great location, sparkling clean and private bathroom. Room is a bit small but is great value for money if you do not want to pay a 3 star expensive hotel. Keep in mind that additional taxes have to be paid in the hotel, city tax etc. Around 14.5% additional.
