No.1 Tiffyhall has been given a 4 star grading by Visit Scotland and is close to great views and the beach. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the cosiness, the kitchen, and the neighbourhood. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids).
No.1 Tiffyhall was previously the main residence of a small croft , which is one of the oldest in the parish and was part of a working farm once owned by the Earl of Zetland. It fell into disrepair and stood empty for 50 years until it was fully renovated and extended in 2008 and has been transformed into a comfortable holiday cottage.

Fully equipped Kitchen diner leading onto inner hall-way allowing access to the lounge with ample seating, picture window overlooking private garden area as well as french doors opening onto patio area. There are two bedrooms, 1 x twin and 1 x double both accessed through the hall-way. Also leading off the hall is large family bathroom containing seperate shower cubicle and bath. The cottage benefits from full central heating.
All Towels and Linen are included in the price, Flat Screen TV/DVD, Fridge/Freezer, Gas Cooker, Microwave, Washing Machine, Hair Dryer, Iron and Ironing Board, Airer, Cot bed and High Chair available on request, Sorry no pets. Smoking is not permitted in the cottage, however there is a smoking area provided for visitors in the garden area.

The cottage is surrounded by farm land and is close to the Brough of Deerness the Gloup and the Mull Head RSPB reserve. The Covenanters memorial is also in the parish and for those of you who like walking all 4 sites are close by as to is good quality coastal walking. In addition, being located on mainland Orkney, the World Heritage sites of Maes Howe Ring of Brodgar & Skara Brae and numerous other sites of interest are a short distance by car as is the airport and ferry terminals at Stromness, Kirkwall and St Margaret’s Hope.
The cottage offers a great holiday for all the family in the Northern Isles of Scotland, giving visitors the opportunity to experience exceptional views, great skies (night and day) good walking or site seeing by car, watching the wildlife on land / sea as well as visiting the world heritage sites located on Orkney Mainland.
