Take a boat trip across the lagoon south of Tulum and a float trip down the Canals the Mayans used to get to the trade ships that came from the ocean. This is one our favorite things to do.

If you are adventerous take a 2 hour drive and visit the island of Holbox, our favorite geteway for a night or 2. Very quaint island and very inexpensive. Go swim with the whale sharks, A winner.
