This tasty cafe also has a large gift and food market to explore while you wait for your table. I like their vegetarian options like the sweet potato and black bean burrito.

Have a Good City smoked lager on a rooftop bench on a summer afternoon! Milwaukee was famous for beer in the age of the dinosaurs. You can still search for the bones of Miller, Pabst and Schlitz, but Good City is a young, forward-thinking brewery for the next generation. This is their original location, so popular they opened a mega taproom near the new Bucks arena downtown.

Follow the murals of Black Cat Alley around to this nighttime spot for cheap and delicious bar food. I love the Pork Loaded Fries and Kimchi Mac n Cheese.

As good a mission-style burrito as Milwaukee can produce! Order at the walk-up window and enjoy with a Guinness next door at Paddy's Pub.
