Unique area in Toronto with tons of small shops, cafes and many more commercial venues on Queen St. Take the 5 min walk South and you'll end up on the famous Boardwalk that extends 3km from Ashbridges Bay all the way to the Water Works. There is much to explore in this area which is perfect for a day trip, as well as easy access to Public Transportation via the Bus/Subway, parking is a bit tougher to find (Tip: Parking behind the Beach Theatre is usually your best best, or side streets). Both Woodbine and Main Street Station have Bus routes that extend to Queen Street. Don't forget about the fireworks during Victoria Day and Canada Day!
