Marble is a historic little community that is famous for providing the marble for the Lincoln Memorial and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Also, located in the town of Marble, population 131, is a great little restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat. You will follow the beautiful Crystal River and see some of the most beautiful scenery on your road trip. Go early and plan to spend the whole day.

Usually held the first week of August, this is a favorite since I was a youngster. Carnival rides, 4-H shows and rodeo ending in a concert. Each night has a different event. Wednesday is my favorite night as we get to watch some of the greatest bull riders from all over the nation.
