A lovely 30 min drive, first through Bucksport, then down US-1. The lighthouse is situated in a state park and dates to the mid-1800s. Follow a side trail through the woods down to a small rocky beach for a great view closer to the water.

My favorite lighthouse - amazing views, walks through the woods, and nice rocky beach to do some beach combing.

In warmer weather, sit outside on the banks of the river and enjoy amazing food and great atmosphere. Afterwards, go for a stroll on Brewer’s river walk.
