You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Our favorites include the blackened salmon, wagyu burger, Santa Fe chicken sandwich and the grilled cheese sandwich. They also have the best mojito on the mountain. The upstairs is 18+ and is self-seating which can get you a table more quickly. The downstairs area is all ages but they don’t take reservations so the wait times can be long.

Murray’s has more of a dive bar feel but they have excellent food and is family-friendly before 5 pm. The grilled salmon, ribeye steak, nachos and buffalo wings are the best food items on the menu. Karaoke starts after 5 pm.

This recommendation is showing as Big Bear Local but it should actually show Tropicali. Tropicali has the best poke in all of So Cal! This is a must try when in Big Bear. The customer service experience here is 10/10 every time.

The food is decent here but I love the patio because it’s dog friendly and they have live music on the weekends.

I recommend this for 21+ if you’re looking to dance. On Saturday nights they have a very talented live band that plays 80’s music.

Trails
One of the most popular hikes in Big Bear and my favorite. It’s about 1.5 miles and has a steep incline but it’s good for all levels. There are many places to stop and rest, and the views are incredible. Also, you will find really big boulders that are fun for climbing. Try to come early especially on the weekend because parking is limited on the side of the road.

This is a 2-3 mile hike. There is one location with a bench that provides the best unobstructed lakes views but there’s usually someone on it.

周邊交通資訊
Free Big Bear trolley
The red line has a stop on Division Dr and Big Bear Blvd. Go to mountaintransit.org for more information.

Driving around
You can get to most popular destinations in 15 minutes or less. During winter months, there is heavier traffic on Big Bear Blvd. so I recommend navigating when leaving the cabin because Stanfield Cutoff can sometimes be the best route.
攜帶物品
Warm clothes
Definitely come prepared with a warm jacket during winter and fall. During winter we also recommend bringing mittens, ear muffs or a head beanie and sunglasses.

The Village
This is the place to visit for the best dining and entertainment. It’s also great to stroll and shop for souvenirs. It gets very busy during the weekends and peak season so be patient when looking to park and waiting to dine. Also, Big Bear is dog friendly so you will find many places to eat with your pet.

Snow chains
Be prepared to carry snow chains during winter months. Check Ben’s weather for the best weather updates and check the Caltrains website for any road condition updates.
