You can walk out the back gate and walk through the woods to Cothelstone Hill, or you can drive 3mins and park there for a less-hilly walk.
Please keep dogs on leads if they have any interest in wild ponies.

Highly recommend stocking up on these delicious and wholesome meals. Large variety, tailored to most tastes (including vegetarian) and can be cooked straight from frozen and will allow you to take it easy on cooking during holidays. No more problem producing different meals to children, whilst you enjoy a lovely Thai curry!
You can order in advance to your visit and collect on your way to the property. Also, deliveries available on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Exceptional Sunday roast and delicious food overall. Best to book. Lovely selection of local ales. I recommend combining this with the beach cliff side walk from East Quantoxhead.

Definitely worth a visit for a special meal. Beautiful country setting, accessed via narrow country lane, set in a converted barn. The service and the food are outstnading.

Outings and walks
I so highly recommend visiting Steve and Sally at Stoke Wood alpacas. Their alpacas are so adorable and gentle, really lovely for kids and equally for adults too. Please book a walking experience, where Steve will give you a very informative talk about the history of alpacas and more, you get to walk around their fields and then return for a nice piece of cake and a drink. Even our teenagers loved it (and it was hard getting them out in the first place!)
