Come early before 1pm on a weekends to avoid disappointment. Telur ikan is a must but a bit expensive. Fried chicken, sayur goreng pun ada untuk the small ones.

Mee rebus is also the gold standard la kawan.. lontong is not bad. Tapi space is very limited , especially during the covid pandemic. So, come early 8ish to avoid being kecewa

Fresh fish and asam pedas? This is sacred ground la friend. From town, 15-20 minutes but worth the trip. Kedai semua tepi laut, sceneries included :) this is asam pedas we are talking about, not the Melaka abominations versions.

Eat rojak petis, Air Batu Campur( ABC), Asam Pedas, Otak- Otak all in one place. Apa lagi Malaysia mau? Stalls are stacked close together, just pick one , this is Muo we are talking about, we know food :) Talk away also can, makan sambil lepak tepi Sungai, tapi sampah buang elok2 lah. Tong sampah penuh, buang kat rumah nanti kay Muo used to have train station but road transport killed it in 1925 but the head locomative is displayed here.

Traffic is heavy on weekends especially downtown, so do consider car pooling or ehailing. Parking is scarce in some areas e.g Wetex Parade, a bit of a walk may be required. Waze or google maps is essential because of the narrow roads and parallel streets tapi ini zaman IT, no worries
