Flathead Lake is one of the largest cleanest lakes in the world for its size and type. You'll find local Flathead cherries for sale during the summer. It's a beautiful drive (you can drive all the way around the lake with stops in several towns on the way). There are plenty of opportunities to get out along the way.
On the west side is U.S. Route 93, and on the east, is Route 35.
