Squashbox Theatre is amazing!! A local guy Craig who travels all over the UK and Internationally, who does a king of educational comedy puppet show. They are usually put on around various places including Penlee Open Air Theatre in Penzance but the Minack Theatre is amazing! All completely open air, it's a stunning backdrop. I recommend a bit of a picnic and a couple of blankets if possible. It's a good 30 minutes drive away but more than worth it! Definitely pre-book the tickets.

About a 10/15 minute walk, Paradise Park is in Hayle by the Foundry. If you prefer to drive, there's usually plenty of parking. As well as birds, animals etc outside there's also a pretty good Jungle Barn/play area for the kids.
You can usually get a return ticket too if you think you might want to go more than once. You can buy food there and/or take a packed lunch as there's plenty of places to eat in and out.

Heartlands is around a 15 minute drive away and is a nice place to go for a picnic and a bit of a play. There's a small little stream and outdoor area to play in and a nice place for a few hours. A bit of calm tucked inside an industrial area.

Jubilee is great if you want a bit of retro water variety, it’s pretty cool!! Once or twice a week (I think it’s a Wednesday), they have a wipeout style course set up which is c. £5. Really good fun! They are pretty good on Facebook so worth following for any updates/info. They also have a geo thermal
