Beautiful drive from here over the pass going down into Aspen where there is lots to do. Or go on to Basalt and have lunch on the river at the Riverside Grill. Delicious Smoked Trout Chowder and Grilled Ruby Trout. To make a circular trip which is a long day trip, go through Glenwood Springs then back up the mountain through the historical mining town of Leadville.
