Great hike at any time of the year, always changes. Goes along the lake at several levels walk along teh beach or choose hike trails that go up where you have great veiws of the lake from an elevation. There are large impresive Pondrosa pine trees with their red cracked bark along the hike that in summer produce strong and great resin/conifeer smell

Food scene
Everybody loves this place. Great and interesting interior, great service and atmosphere. Ribs and brisket with sides, to die for, also nice choice of beers. You cannot reserve but must go and line up if it is busy times, but its goes fast and its worth waiting

One of our favourite wineries on the wine trail. It has great yard that has access to the lake and beach. They have good coffee place there too, eat in or take away food that you can eat on the great patio or in one of provided benches with sun umbrellas, close to the lake
