The patio upstairs is amazing and more casual!The whole restaurant has great interior design, yummy cocktails with indian ingredients and outstanding cuisine. The chef/owner is a local celebrity and he is often at the restaurant. Great opportunity to dress up and enjoy Vancouver food scene at its best.

A short bus ride or 20minutes walk will take you to Granville Island. You can spend the whole day there shopping on the amazing local artisans shops. There are a few styles of restaurants here from fancy spots to casual market eats and they are all awesome.
In the markets (check there is more than one) you can find an amazing variety of produce, meats, fish and seafood, cheeses and special/gourmet hard to find items.
There is also a water park for kids during the summer and an kids market with tons of games. The little ones will love it.
Granville Island is also a great spot for concerts and performances. A lot of Vancouver's festivals take place here. Check their calendar online!
