Nobu is an iconic brand, so when you come to Newport, you'll probably want to check this place out. We call this a special occasion place, because it is super expensive, so if you can't afford the steep price on the food, at least grab a drink and check out the scene. It can be quite entertaining!

This place is a local institution with great food and vintage Newport ambiance. The bar can get kind of loud during sporting events (TVs on the wall in the bar area) but there are three dining areas, so if noise bothers you, ask to sit away from the bar and you should be fine. The menu is fabulous and the desserts are insane! One of our favorites!

The menu is fabulous and the desserts are insane! One of our favorites!

When you're in Newport, you have to check out Lido Marina! It is so beautiful. There are cool boutiques and sometimes live music on the street. Enjoy a salad, sandwich or glass of wine at Zinque while sitting on the outdoor patio beside some of the most beautiful boats in the world. Heaven!

Take a walk out on the pier to see the ocean below and the sky above. Sometimes you can see a dolphin pod pass by or a whale in the distance, but the coolest thing is to walk all the way out, turn around and look at the beautiful Southern California coastline.
