Delicious, made-from-scratch dishes that will warm you, heart and soul. Live music featured, as well! I'd highly recommend Cowboys & Angels for a very nice evening out! Give the fried green tomatoes, pork belly, spaghetti and meatballs, and most definitely, the cheese & shrimps grits, a try! Another favorite here are the bison burgers. Just off the Unicoi Turnpike (Hwy. 17/75), this section of the Northeast Georgia mountains presents a number of beautiful vistas, landscapes, and waterfalls. But reaching most of them requires an adventurous spirit and the willingness to do some hiking! Among the more scenic spots accessible from High Shoals' designated parking area are High Shoals Creek Falls and Blue Hole Falls, which both have observation areas. As you walk the trails, keep your eyes and ears alert --- you may see some of the many animals that call High Shoals "home".
