Best part about this location in my opinion!
Adjacent to our house is one entrance to trailhead to the Bosque (woods) with paved and dirt walking paths. To walk down to the river, take the path by the house and near where the path changes from paved to dirt, there is an dirt path that goes downhill into the Bosque. Walk straight on that path to the river. When you get near the river if you turn left on a path and walk down a ways, you'll get to a large opening by the river, where there is "beach". It's sandy - but there are also typically many ants. It's a beautiful spot!
