Located about 45 minutes from Whitefish center is Talley Lake. It's on a gravel road which makes driving slower that's why it takes so long to get there. It's the deepest lake in the area over 400' with cliffs and views of foothills. There is a campground, beach. I like to kayak here.

Tally Lake Campground RoadLocated about 45 minutes from Whitefish center is Talley Lake. It's on a gravel road which makes driving slower that's why it takes so long to get there. It's the deepest lake in the area over 400' with cliffs and views of foothills. There is a campground, beach. I like to kayak here.
If you want to see and be on turquoise waters this is the lake to be on without hiking into the mountains. The campground road is fairly treacherous but once you get down the water is amazing. I feel as though I'm in the Bahamas looking down towards the bottom of the lake. Heaven.
