Zanjic Beach is also called President Beach. There was a time when a famous Broz Tito (the President of former Yugoslavia) chose this bay as a private beach. It is located 6 km from Herceg-Novi, on the Lustica Peninsula. In summer time one can get there by a private boat from Herceg-Novi, Igalo and Meline. The boats depart every 10 minutes from 9a.m. till 1p.m. and coming back from 5p.m. till 8p.m. The beach is gravel and there is no sand, therefore the water is very clean and clear. One should be careful entering the water because of big large cobbles and sea urchins. It's better to use a sun lounger with an umbrella (the price is 10 Euro) and an atomized shower (0,50 cents) for a comfortable rest. The beach is surrounded by olive grove. One can have a rest from the sun in its shadows and enjoy a glass of wonderful wine. There is a big quay next to the beach. From this place you can go to the Blue Cave or visit Mamula island-fortress. This trip will cost about 5 Euros per person. In ten minutes walking distance from the main beach, there is Mirištа Bay. The shore consists of concrete platforms, which rise stepwise up to the dense forest. This place is marked out by amazing landscapes around and fresh forest air.

Jaz beach summary The Jaz beach is one of the largest in Montenegro. However, the vicinity is not built-up at all. The nearest town, Budva, is 3 km away. Jaz beach has two sections that are each 1.7 km long. On the Budva side it is rocky, becoming pebbly and graduating to tiny pebbles. The remote side is golden sand. There are no steep dips when entering the sea, so it is ideal for children. The beach is wide so even in August you will find a spot to sunbathe. I cannot guarantee that Jaz will never be crowded but it is less full than Budva or Bečići and the beach itself is large. Jaz beach facilities There are beds and umbrellas to rent on about ⅔ on the beach. The remaining part of the each is free. There are freshwater showers, toilet facilities and changing rooms. There are safety buoys in the sea. You can rent jet bikes, water trikes and kayaks. There are stands selling beach essentials, drinks and snacks in the car park. There are two or three summer restaurants serving meat, pizza, and pasta. The best one is beside a small hotel called Poseidon. It is located on the shore near the entrance from Budva. There are also a few smaller cafes. Unfortunately, there is no playground. There is a large car park nearby since most people choose to drive here. Getting there You can walk here from Budva but only alongside the road. Around 1.4 km of the walk is a dusty because there is no pavement and the traffic is very heavy. It is therefore best to get a taxi (about €5 each way) or a bus (€2). The bus departs 4 times a day from a bus stop near the old part of Budva, beside the Perla cafe. You can find apartments and villas that say they are located somewhere between 50, 100, or 500 m from Jaz beach. These places are located in Prijevor and Seoce, two small villages. They are located on a hill, 100 or 200 m above the sea level. To get to Jaz beach, you will have to walk the along the road for 1.4 km, and the walk 900 m from the road to the beach. Do be careful choosing your apartment since there are only a few villas near Jaz.

Pure clean water, just amazing.
Uvala Veslo
Pure clean water, just amazing.
It's rougher and rockier than most other peninsula beaches, but with super-clear water and steep rugged drop-offs, this secluded bay offers adventure galore for strong swimmers keen on snorkelling and cliff jumping. It's not one for the kids, but those seeking splendid isolation might just find their paradise here. There's a little signposted campground in an olive grove nearby. The camp is private, but you could leave a car there and pay for whole day. The camp will provide water and electricity, and it is possible to stay overnight witch is also paying.

Village on the coast
Krašići is located on the Luštica peninsula, on the southern shore of the Bay of Tivat in the Bay of Kotor (Boka Kotorska), between the village settlements of Tičići and Radovići. Old Krašići was located at mountain side, a few kilometers from its present location. This place is now called Gornji Krašići (Upper Krašići) or Stari Krašići (Old Krašići) and current village is sometimes called Donji Krašići (Lower Krašići). The village graveyard is still located in the old village. Villagers lived mostly from planting olives and vines and producing olive oil and wine. After the great 1979 Montenegro earthquake, the village was heavily damaged and people have resettled on the current location at sea shore, which was prior to the earthquake used for small-scale fishing. In addition to their former occupations, they increased fishing, and, recently, tourism. In the 1970s, some tourists started building houses around the village in larger numbers. This boomed and now they by far outnumber locals. The first tourist settlement is Krašići 1; after it, Krašići 2 was built. Tourists have also built the beach (which was a stony beach before that), streets and infrastructure in the settlement, It was the only Catholic village on Luštica. Original Krašići has some 150 houses; now, in addition to that, there are several big five star hotels held by locals. Krašići 2/1 has around 800 houses. Houses in Krašići 1 and 2 are self-built by tourists. The village has one pier, with a navigational light, which encloses a small harbour; there is one more smaller harbour in the village. The beaches are mostly concrete beach with gravel sea floor.
