SAVUSAVU FARMERS MARKET. The local farmers market is located right in town, next to Savusavu Bus Depot and is rural Fiji at its best. Shop for fresh locally grown fruit and vegetables, as well as seafood. You may on occasions find fresh tuna, lobster or prawns. There is a small Handicraft section where village women have hand carved souvenirs you may want to pick up. The market is not modern or air conditioned so expect to rough it out a bit.

Parks & Nature

FLORA TROPICAL GARDENS SAVUSAVU is a must for nature lovers and has a palm collection with more than 250 species from across the world, many rare and endangered. You will see various flowering trees, many varieties of variegated and flowering shrubs, more than 40 types of tropical fruit trees, orchids, heliconia and water lilies. It is less than 5 kms from KOKO Savusavu on the bay-side with 5 acres of hillsides and creek flats that you walk through using elevated timber walkways and stone paths.
