This is the best all around for breakfast. It is nearby and the food is great! It gets pretty busy but moves pretty quickly. If you don't want to wait there are two other good breakfast joints on the oval so walk on over to Union Street Grill or Cafe on the Oval

Bar One is a hip little bar with a fun menu. You get great service and you can grab a bite or wet your whistle. It is small and can be busy on the weekends. It is good to go after 8:30 for seating, but the kitchen closes at 10 so it is a small window for no hassle seating.

The Riverwalk Cafe is a great catchall. You get the coffee shop vibe during the day but you can also catch live music and enjoy and adult beverage. Or they have sandwiches and baked goods also if you want to grab a bite to eat while you visit.
