Now this is a true hidden gem! 120 year old oaks, elms, beech trees. lush grass, and an oasis of green for a picnic. Some scenes from Lord of the Rings were filmed here. You woe it to yourself to spend an hour here at least.

This is a stunning place to go for a picnic and then take one of the walks. No matter the time of year, you will love the huge trees and tree ferns, the stillness of the air and the silence that surrounds you. It's up a dirt road bit don't let that deter you - any decent 2wd car will find it a doddle...
