This is one of the world's largest and finest art galleries. To enter, it is only a RECOMMENDED donation. You pay only what you choose to donate. The best part is that it is located within Central Park. Relax in the park after exhausting yourself in the museum.

Parks & Nature
This is our favorite park in Manhattan. Often, there are events in this park and many local entertainers. We love this park because it is surrounded by skyscrapers, within walking distance to many other iconic scenes in NYC and is on the backside of the New York Public Library. This is an excellent place to relax your tired feet. Buy a lunch to-go at a nearby restaurant and enjoy the people watching here. During the winter, Bryant Park offers ice skating, excellent hot chocolate and festive holiday shopping booths.

This is an excellent place to relax your tired feet. Buy a lunch to-go at a nearby restaurant and enjoy the people watching here. During the winter, Bryant Park offers ice skating, excellent hot chocolate and festive holiday shopping booths.

Here, you can see the Unisphere that was created for the New York World's Fair, Queens Zoo and children's amusement park, Citi Field (home of the Mets baseball team), Billie Jean King National Tennis Center (home of the US Open) and a beautiful lake where you can rent peddle boats and bicycles.

The Staten Island Ferry is the way to see the Statue of Liberty for free! But don't stay in Staten Island, there's nothing to do there. Catch the boat immediately to return to Manhattan. We recommend catching the ferry 1 hour before sunset. You can see the Statue on the way there during daylight, then see it during sunset on your way back.

Coney Island is an excellent day trip. You pay-per-a-ride instead of paying an entrance fee. The Aquarium is nearby and the Circus Sideshow is entertaining. Brighton Beach is a great place to get a tan, and if you visit, be sure to grab a Nathan's hot dog!
