The Trail Head is a laid back wear your torn jeans kinda mountain restaurant who has a great menu and the best ginger rum drink around. Decorated with old canoes, they have fun live music by extremely talented local musicians to enjoy while you eat. Great fries!

This is a very old path the Cherokees used to get up the mountain from Old Fort. Beautifully clean water and many naturally beautiful boulders and streams to cross to make your way to the falls where the water invites you in to wade.
