If your island dream is to dine under a palm front umbrella right on the sand of the beach—and to do so relatively cheaply—come chill out at the Chill Out Hut. The service is on “island time” (i.e.: slow), and the Jamaican-style bar food is pretty basic: Cheeseburgers and chips (fries), garlic shrimp, pizza, nachos, jerk pork. But it is tasty, and the setting is hard to beat, whether you score one of those postcard shaded tables on the sand or sit at a chair converted from a barrel on the flagstone terrace around the bar in the open-air thatched dining hut.

The Rose Hall Great House is the legendary home of the White Witch of Rose Hall, Annie Palmer. Tours of the great house are currently available. You will be guided by knowledgeable guides wearing traditional Jamaican folk attire. The tour takes you all around the great house, including the bedrooms. Your guide will also tell you the history of the property, including all of Annie's alleged dastardly deeds. After being shown the inside of the Great House you will be taken outside and shown the grave on Annie Palmer, the final resting place of her body (if not her spirit). The tour concludes at the former dungeon in the basement which has been converted in to a pub.

YS Falls is a nature-based attraction offering the opportunity to experience the beauty of the waterfalls surrounded by lush gardens and magnificent trees. There are seven waterfalls, several which cascade into natural pools. Some areas are fairly rocky and river shoes are recommended. Lifeguards on site, indicate which areas are for swimming, however, being able to swim is a requirement. There is a natural pool, fed by underground and above ground springs, which is more suitable for children and others unable to swim.

There are seven waterfalls, several which cascade into natural pools. Some areas are fairly rocky and river shoes are recommended. Lifeguards on site, indicate which areas are for swimming, however, being able to swim is a requirement. There is a natural pool, fed by underground and above ground springs, which is more suitable for children and others unable to swim.
