I like breakfast here. I usually buy bread to go as well. Sometimes you even catch local talent performing here. Breakfast all day, Lunch from 9am daily. Kitchen closes at 4pm. Brunch from 9-2pm Sunday

It has an energetic feel with lots of variety on the menu for a great brunch. It is more expensive than other places. Good strong coffee Lemon blueberry (homemade) ricotta pancakes were so perfect they didn't need syrup. Can't ever go wrong with fresh fruit and bacon. Salmon omelette had a lot going for it.

We keep going back because it is cosy and welcoming and the food is what our son always wants...wood-burn oven pizza! We sometimes walk here after an outdoor event on Dow's Lake.

You can make great memories on the canal in all seasons whether it is a nice evening walk or skate or paddle! You can even rent a canoe not far from where we live and paddle it to a dock for lunch! In the winter, Ottawa hosts a great festival called Winterlude centred around the longest skateway in the world!
