A recent discovery. Great food in a friendly atmosphere. A place that we now have been a few times. Fresh produce and tasty food. We had an excellent Christmas dinner here. Highly recommended.

A bit on the pricy side, so one to save for special occasions. According to the Michelin guide: "The delicious cuisine is expertly prepared, while the service is attentive and professional." It certainly has been when we have been there.

The history of this stunning cathedral sums up the history of the the island of Sicily. Originally a Greek temple - you can still see the columns of the temple in the walls. Then becoming a church, only to be converted to a mosque and the back to a church again. The piazza is one of the most beautiful in Italy - to think it was a parking lot until the 80s....

Noto is worth the visit for its' wonderful baroque architecture, but even more so for its' wonderful ice cream. Cafe Sicilia is worth a visit. We love some granita with our coffee.

One of our favourites for swimming. Great little beach around half an hours drive outside Siracusa. You can park on the street if you take the first right after the bridge.
