Food Scene
Food scene is very vibrant in Riga, some people say it's new nordic capital of modern cuisine. This you can find in high end restaurants like Vincents, Barents, restaurant "3". Restaurant Kolonade. Mūsu stāsti. has a great view to Latvian National opera, perfect menu, lunch menu is value for money. Restaurant "3 Pavāri" is a great show, nice atmosphere and experience in general. For traditional and down to earth go to Lido Krasta, self service, huge complex, extremely popular among locals, but you will always find a place and might be chance to dance downstairs. To get there from apartment you will need a taxi. I always recommend to download Bolt app(local Uber). Being one of co-founders of foundation for our National Symphony orchestra I am very proud of the level orchestra is performing at. Past year realised enormous project of bringing 1600 kids from musical schools to inspire them choose a profession of musician.
