I have done the 7km decent (they drive you to the start) and it was a simple route where you can take your time, take a picnic and just enjoy the scenery.
The town is not a destination in itself but instead a great spot for cycling routes and water activities.

There are long and short routes to take. Take a picnic and stop en route. Rarely too deep and even the rapids are quite gentle.

Have had brilliant nights here. The nights of 'Toro Piscine' are the best, especially when paired with a meal of Guardianne or Paella in their large barn/restaurant. Everything is VERY rustic and you can end up sharing tables with others but I think it is worth it.
