Sightseeing

The best park in Tokyo, in my opinion. It has a large Japanese garden, a Chinese garden, a rose garden, a giant lawn and a fantastic greenhouse. Convenient to Shinjuku so lots of restaurants nearby

Tokyo's legendary red-light district. Lots of restaurants, bars and dodgy places, as well. Tokyo, including Kabukicho, is a remarkably safe city, but exercise common sense here.

This is where much of the movie Lost in Translation was filmed. It's the hotel that Bill Murray stayed in and has the bar (New York Grill) that he drank in. It's expensive, but has a great view.

Tokyo's gay district. Supposedly more gay bars here per square kilometer than anyplace else in the world. Maybe true due to small size of the bars. Lots to see if this is your scene.
