We LOVE LOVE LOVE Værnedamsvej, for a drink, Coffe, Dinner, snacking or just hanging out. Kid-friendly, cozy, relaxed and Frenchy. Værnedamsvej is a small, busy shopping street situated between Vesterbro and Frederiksberg. The street is known for its French atmosphere and to many Copenhageners it is viewed as Copenhagen’s Paris. Here, you will find cafés, restaurants, specialty shops, deli’s and our local wine bar Falernum. The street is oozing charm and a relaxed atmosphere, where several families with children and locals meet and hang out in the weekends enjoying the Frenchy charm – often at the great café Granola. Le Gourmand - is a fantastic french specilitaty foodie place. Helges Ost (Cheese) fantastic sandwiches and more. Everything is good except for the Fish shop - it used to be really bad and we haven't been back since.

Shop at Købmanden(the grocery) enjoy free concerts on sundays on Nemoland. For nightlife, we like the "club" Operaen with live music- remember to bring cash for the entree on 1 floor in a house on "Pusher street".. Christiania is so much more that pusher street- in fact that's the least liked part in our opinion.

The fantastic garden - where you can get on a rowing boat and get on a tour in the canals. Great place to sunbathe and see Frederiksberg Castle. Next to the Zoo and from the garden you can see the Elephants.

Beautiful garden 10 min. from our place. Most beautiful rose garden. So many trees and flowers, small cafe. Sunbathe and relax.
