An iconic restaurant who's founder, Alice Waters, is accredited for pioneering the farm-to-table movement in the early 1970s and who's culinary style is very much the essence of California Cuisine. The restaurant always serves a set menu, reservations are required.
Chez Panisse Cafe: a more casual and less expensive dining experience located upstairs, above the restaurant. Reservations are recommended, but not required. It's a great place to go for lunch or after dinner desserts and drinks.
